Whats up with the irish guys ?

I took a little of Campas at 600 but its probably one year to late for Campas. And that one month preparation dosnt look to good neither but thats why he is such a dog. And Buddy Mcgirt (new trainr of Macklin) is another reason to bet Campas.

And yes Berrio knocked out Stieglitz but he also koed Mack who gave Andrade everything he could handle. Stieglitz was winning the fight against Berrio and got caught with a nice counter, got up and went toe to toe again and got put down again.

At these odds i stick with stieglitz or Andrade via dec.

On my way to Miami from the west coast. I was not at all shocked to see Lee taken out. I mentioned to Punch that the guy took too many punches and was overrated. I didn't wager thinking he'd at least get by vera but I wrote a post in boxrec several mnths back that he'd lose as soon as he stepped up.

Nothing is really grabbing me this week. I have 5 hund on the under for andrade @+115. I might just scalp it and take the sure thing. I also have a few bucks on the over for Kot/Reese-365...guess I have to maintain my "over king" moniker. I made a dumb mistake when placing that wager and inadvertantly placed on the over for dawson/johnson. I actually think dawson may get the old man out of there and I'm trying to get that wager reversed. I'm considering the over on Casa but the nasty cut for Kat in his last go is keeping me from pulling the trigger. Going to enjoy a few days in the sun! Good luck everybody.

Speaking of the "Over King" moniker which I so aptly coined.....,Why don't we just go with King Over.

The under on andrade is an okay play but Andrade straight at over - 400 is not smart.
Dont get me wrong Andrade is a quality fighter and a great dog play because of his power and stamina but he is also very beatable.
I played Andrade against mack and i did like what i saw there. Andrade got lucky and Mack fought a stupid fight.
This is not Berto vs Trabant it is much closer and Stieglitz has good stamina and solid skills to outbox Andrade and maybe Andrades chin has soften up a bit a after the kessler beating. He took some crazy combos in that fight.
I also like that Torsten Schmitz is training Stieglitz now he is my favorite german trainer.
I am waiting on my man as always he is playing the under or Stieglitz. If he plays Stieglitz watch out. I let you know.

I''ll save tonymontana the trouble and tell boxlox to watch out.

Well done.:142smilie

My man plays Stieglitz. Anything over 300 is good value. He believes Stieglitz is the best boxer besides Kessler Andrade has faced. If he sticks to his game play he can win a dec.
He is not always right and i went against him and won (Williams over Mag) but i sure as hell have a lousy records going against him.

I also like the photos at fightnews of Stieglitz he looks focused and ready and pretty huge. He is a strong guy he started at lightheavy weight.

odds are dropping fast so get some dog money now if you want it

I agree tonym about the over 10.5 play, it's too risky for me. Kat's cuts and open defense on one side and his workrate and stamina vs Casa's age on the other could stop this early.

5dimes is offering the same odds for Casamayor wins 10-12 and Casamayor wins 1-3.

How in the world could Cas KO Kat in rounds 1-3? By round 9 Kat's eyes could be spewing blood all over the ring. Playing Casa 9-12 is pretty much the same as Casa inside.

Adding:

Cas KO 9, lay 3 to win 210.00
Cas KO 10-12, lay 10 to win 275.00

Interesting

Interesting

I still think Andrade will be way too much for Stiegletz, who doesn't have near the handspeed or explosive offence of a Yusef Mack. Andrade is much, much better than Berrio who fought very evenly with and stopped Stiegletz. Andrade has also worked on his defensive liabilities since the Mack fight. This might be competive early, but I think Andrade stops him late.

Having said that, I already have a nice parlay riding on Andrade at -220, and I can now get Steigletz at +370, so I will take Tony's advice and buy back the straight bet. Leaving 1 unit to win .50 on Andrade in the parlay with Cotto

Probably the smart thing to do as there's easier money to be made on the Rees-Kotelnik Over which is still on the board at a very nice price

Here is a like to live stream of Macklin vs campas plus undercard in ireland. I have a little bit on Campas.http://www.rte.ie/live/

I also have a little on Kotelnik inside at plus 700 thats just to high.
Kotelnik straight at -145 looks good to me also.

Box i believe that you made the wise money dec.
I like Andrade myself and he probably will get to Stieglitz but Stieglitz has a shot in this fight and he seems lean and mean to me. Dont underestimate Berrio he is improving.

isn`t it odd that mack got k.o.`ed by berrio,too....strange round robin they have going between mack/berrio/steiglitz and andrade.....

i`ll take a small play on stieglitz by decision with tony....normally i`d just take it straight but,i`ll be surprised if stieglitz stops andrade while kessler hit him with everything this isde of a marble rolling pin and couldn`t put him away....

What was the official time? All I heard was TKO12 and went into a panic. The over 11.5 won? My bet was too big in retrospect regardless of W or L.

Congrats on the +700 win, I didn't take a side but our guy had it right.

Andreas Kotelnik (29-2-1, 13 KOs) secured the WBA 140 pound title in Cardiff this evening stopping the previously unbeaten champion Gavin Rees (27-1, 13 KOs) in the twelfth and final round. In an absorbing fight, the former Olympic silver medalist from the Ukraine Kotelnik showed superior boxing skills and power in the second half of the fight. The 30-year-old Kotelnik hurt Rees with a strong right hook in the final minute and he wobbled and held on but fell to the floor as the referee tried to break them. It was obvious as he rose he was in trouble and after a final flurry, referee Luis Pabon halted the fight with just 26 seconds remaining and a stoppage time of 2:34 of the twelfth and final round. In the early stages, Rees took the fight to Kotelnik but the former amateur who won 135 of 150 amateur fights always landed the more effective and telling punches. Rees landed some good body shots in the middle rounds but the Ukranian from the Universum stable always seemed to have the superior boxing ability and power.

the over made it but Rees was hurt several times but Kotelnik has no killer instinct. Rees has good regenerating powers. Anybody knows the scores the tv guys are full of shit they had Kotelnik just one point ahead but rees was hitting Kotelniks arms alnight long.

Enzo Calzaghe better gets his son ready or he is going from multiple champs to empty hands.

But thats just more motivation for Joe and if he is fully prepared and motivated he is not losing to grandpa Hopkins.

Congrats on the +700 win! Excellent call

224 rd 12...never a doubt. A little too close for my comfort...guys doing the rbr said reese was done in the 8th. I'm taking that win and a very rare scalp. I have 500 on the over +130 and 5 hund on the under +115... it's 75 or 150 profit on the andrade fight. I like the under but not confident enough to turn down guaranteed money. Very quiet week but I'll net 200 or better. Good luck on the fight tonight everyone!

I like the overs but I rarely take 11 1/2. I was pretty much going on the word of others w/that one. Box was jumping on -380. I was a little surprised so I said what the hell and I put down 5 hund to win a hund and change. I mention scalps all the time but I think this is the 1st time I actually took it. I could have been up 7 or down 3. Decided to take the guarantee and not have to sweat it out. I like andrade to catch up and stop the guy but it just might go over and even an upset possibility.
