"the bunker"
going to try something here....taking lyakhovich +360.......i liked him vs guinn....and hedging brewster inside the distance at -142....just enough to get my money back if he gets the stoppage...

i liken guinn`s lazy style to brewster`s,who sleeps through much of his fights...how many more times will brewster,a lousy boxer, pull the rabbit outta` his hat?.....(he was losing ve klit(klit pooped out)...losing vs krasniqi....losing badly vs meehan)....`

i have heard that sergei was sick prior to the harris loss...harris is a dangerous guy...

like lyakhovich`s skills...his size...jab...he tends to stand in sometimes...not good here...

soooo, here`s hoping sergei can withstand another possible golota-style bum`s rush....and take it into the later rounds...

i liked lyakhovich`s stamina vs guinn...

guys have gone the distance with brewster...china-chinned clifford etienne and horace shufford(10 rds)...

and i`ll touch the lyakhovich by decision at +865 lightly.....that prop wasn`t out when i formulated my master plan...and those odds are crazy...

and don`t forget....lyakhovich is a don king fighter....

i think toney had signed with king...and we saw him squeeze a draw out with rahman....probably didn`t deserve it...

if brewster blitzes sergei,i won`t get hurt....unless brewster wins a decision....

when was the last time that brewster was ahead before k.o.`ing somebody?....golota?...lol

worth the shot....

also took a wild shot with malignaggi vs cotto...cotto`s very deliberate...he has to walk through malignaggi...but,he likes to counter punch...

he CAN walk through malignaggi....if he chooses...AND IF HE CATCHES HIM....

at +350.why not...l...malignaggi`s style is very difficult...fighting at home in n.y.....

would also like to hear some thoughts on barrera and juarez.....barrera should be to technically sound...but,juarez can punch...

also looking at raheem vs freitas...i don`t think raheem lost to juarez...i think he`s uber-confident.......i don`t think freitas can knock him out...

trying to parlay froch with something...anybody have any ideas?....

Agree; Raheem DID NOT lose, IMHO. I like him here very much. He was masterful versus Morales, but we know styles make fights. I'd say Raheem is one hungary dog right about now. How much fire does Frietas have left? I like Raheem. Also, the line on the Tarver-Hoppy thing is all over the place. In Vegas it's pretty much -200, +170 back. Offshore it was as high as Tarver -300 this afternoon! Lots of action it would seem. I think Juarez also looks like something to be considered. Seems like the old guard is giving way to the young lions.

GW-Cotto could lose if Paulie could punch. I'm a former NY'er and Italian, having lived in Brooklyn. NYC is chock full of Italians AND New(Puerto) Ricans, believe it! So who is really home here? Even though Paulie lives in NY, the chicanos will be out in full force. Of course, the wiseguys will be backing Paulie same as when Vito Antefurmo "drew" versus Marvin Hagler. Robbery at it finest. There will probably be more Italians at the Garden as they have more money and connections to get seats. Cotto will stalk/walk Paulie down all nite. If he gets TOO careless he may have trouble. I won't lay the lumber and Paulie is a longshot here.

I wouldn't play Barerra at the -460 opener, but I'll take the -330 any day of the week

If I get cold feet, I can always take Juarez inside distance at big + money. No way Juarez outpoints Barerra, they're not even in the same class imo.

A few replies to my boys...

Raheem easily outboxed Juarez, there's no "imo" about it

Freitas hit Corrales with everything but the kitchen sink and never made a dent in Chico, so gw's claim that Freitas won't stop Raheem is accurate imo. Esp when you consider that Raheem is defensively supperior to Corrales and won't get hit with near as many shots.

I agree with frankster that Malignaggi doesn't have enough pop to hurt Cotto like Torres and Corley did. I'm not saying Paulie can't win a decision (he's definitly faster) but I don't see Paulie stopping Cotto.

2-0 so far...

2-0 so far...

Johnson wins by 8 round UD

Heavy wood on both plays but when you consider that neither wager was in danger at any point of the fight...easy money

Gold stars are for sale for $27.50. I don't care anyway. As long as they let me post all of my gibberish, I'll take the insult!
