FCK me...thought I had a VERY nice week but forgot about a 2nd BIG over wager on ALV/Cam...it KILLED my good week. A slight net win on the week but that fight fcking killed me...Alex finished some nice parlays and had him big straight up and lose 90% on a chalk over wager
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

2nd look...I lose on the week due to my small Urango itd hedge...FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

It's been a NICE run for 2 months though...stupid wagering technique killed the streak.

ditto... parlay came thru but Alexander over killed me. Small net loss on the week. A little too spread out on small wagers as well. Keep it simple stupid!

Clottey upset anyone?

It was only a net loss of 80 bucks. No big deal but after thinking it was a net win of 1500+, it sort of ruined my night :142smilie :mj07: :142smilie

No lost sleep over it. Live and learn from the dumb mistakes. We'll get em back next week Brother!

I think he is LIVE. Are the Pac backers going to drive the odds up even more? I'm shocked at the high + odds on Clottey. The only thing is is that Clot will almost need a ko. Aum's cash cow will not lose any rds that he lands a few punches. Clot will need a dominating performance to the W.

Gary Sykes -140 - Medium- WIN

Honorio vs Hilario Over 9.5 +100- Small- WIN

Devon Alexander by Decision -150 -Medium- LOSS

Saul Alvarez vs Brian Camechis Under 4.5 +130- Small-WIN

Saul Alvarez looks like the really deal. He leaves himself open for counters but he sure know how to finish guys.

I am probably biased because I bet on the Decision, but I thought the stoppage was a little early and that Urango could of continued.

Oh well, let's get'em again next week! :)

I agree with matt
Alexander looked great and proved me wrong, but I do believe the ref pulled the plug a tad early.
Urango probably would have been stopped seconds later, but he wasn't given the opportunity.
He was hurt just as bad against Bailey (maybe worse).
But, in the end, I made the wrong call.
Alexander may not be powerful, but he makes up for it with accuracy and speed (perhaps more important).

Congrats matt on a great week ! Saul Alvarez under was a very solid call.

Toatally agree with you about the Urango vs Bailey fight. He was hurt worse against Bailey and that fight turned out to be one Urango's career best wins.

Thanks for the kinda words Ghost Kid, Quanah, and Romi. If we all work together this year like we have been doing, I think 2010 could be our best year yet! :D

I was surprised by the quick stoppage. In pro boxing if you are standing at 8 and say that you want to continue you get the chance 99% of the time. Only thing is that referee probably saw something in Urango eyes that urged him to stop it.
I was more surprised with scorecards. Only one point of difference on all three and one in favor of Urango?! Give me a break. I know that Alex was missing a lot with a jab but they must have scored every body punch by Urango that landed on elbow. They scored it like all Alexes punches were shoe shining when all they should do is look at Urango face. Guess they were surprised in 8th.
