mother****ers. that was not close and in england 115 113 twice and 114 114 draw would have killed me.
nice call trailed you for 200 bucks.
I took a swing with the pocket rocket but didnt knew anything about Monroe

Well done plus is where the money is.
Very nice dog and you played it pretty big for your standards.
Lets hope the weekend continues like this

Mtagwa won by 10 round UD

Valtierra was game but the short notice was obvious, worth a small shot at +280

Had more on the Over anyway

you might want to consider putting a play on the over 7.5 rds in the Oleg / Peter fight.

"the bunker"
nice call on munroe....

i`m hearing they`re gonna have "open" scoring in the maskaev/peter fight(making the scores known after every round)....

is that correct?....i can`t confirm it...

http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167978

cause if it is,it could have a bearing on the outcome.......whoever falls behind may push a tad harder and it could make some sort of stoppage more likely....

looking at peter/maskaev,it`s weird that peter`s only been involved in one stoppage in his last 6 fights.....granted he fought toney twice, but, that seems interesting considering he`s such a brutal puncher....

maskaev is 39?.....and he`s been very inactive...

i`m thinking peter inside the distanace here...maskaev`s been stopped by lesser punchers than peter and every loss has been inside the distance...

peter`s due for a big k.o. and i have a feeling he may get it here...never thought maskaev was particularly quick...and if cory "t-rex" sanders got him, that catches my attention...

might be a better idea to par inside the distance rather than peter inside (-170 vs-235..now -270) covers your ass in case maskaev does a mccline on peter...maskaev would probably finish a little better than mccline...not sure if peter`s chin is the issue as much as the fact his his aggressive nature leaves him open to get caught...

i`m not putting much credence in maskaev`s rahman wins...rahman`s slooooow and way overrated,imo......

took macarinelli at around +130...liked tony`s write-up and haye`s chin and weight making issues make macarinelli worth a look,imo...

could go either way,though...one of those fights.. haye looks like he should be a heavyweight...he`s a big cruiser...they both are..

coin flip...

as i said i took ruiz at the early lower odds(-130)...i think it`s 12 and i think mccline will fall into the ruiz trap as most everyone does...mccline should wilt late(mentally or physically..or both) and ruiz should do enough...hopefully... kinda glad it`s not on t.v. as it will surely be a painful thing to watch for anybody with money riding on it...

the over looks good, but i`m a little worried about mccline`s heart if things go south and ruiz is quick with that right hand...

maybe the inside the distance peter/maskaev with an over 9.5 in mccline/ruiz...and throw in a solid mma play...i hope mccline can hang in...

and juan diaz, despite the k.o. ratio, has been stoppping guys of late...i`m not as big a fan of diaz as some, but, his pressure/work rate gives guys huge problems...

looking at nate campbell`s resume,he struggled and actually wilted a bit vs other busy, pressure type fighters he`s been in with(hlatschwayo and francisco lorenzo)...

and i`m still smarting from nate`s pathetic performance vs very beatable robbie peden in the second go round...

always liked nate, but he`s a head case...if there were a diaz inside the distance prop that was reasonable,i might take a hard look at it...

Nice write-up GW, though it seems Haye was impressive at the weigh-in and looked comfortable. gl on your play, I'm staying away.

Peter inside is the likely outcome, I only took Mask KO and Dec small, each about +900. Maskaev is old, inactive and injured, if he's clearly behind on the cards he'll probably look for a way out.

Diaz is having some problems with Don King, but the guy seems too smart and determined to let that bother him. Plus it's in Mexico, Campbell will have to KO to win, and I don't see it. You just can't find the range to get your punches off again Diaz, and you can't plant your feet.

Ronnie Shields injured!

Ronnie Shields, trainer for lightweight champ Juan Diaz, slipped in the lobby of his hotel and fractured his right foot. He will work Diaz?s corner this evening against Nate Campbell - seated in a wheelchair. Shields? injury is the latest incident in a string of tribulations leading up to tonight?s fight in Cancun Mexico, most notably the ongoing dispute between Diaz?s manager Willie Savannah and Don King. At yesterday?s weigh-in, King positioned several placards in front of the stage with messages that took shots at Diaz and Savannah. Regarding all the pre-fight drama, Shields told the Houston Chronicle: ?There?s plenty happening around here. But Juan is looking good. He?s in great shape. He?s ready to go.?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

King dumps Juan Diaz!

Promoter Don King made a surprise announcement on Wednesday that he will no longer represent undefeated unified lightweight world champion Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz after his match on Saturday with Nate "Galaxxy Warrior" Campbell in Cancun, Mexico. King has represented Diaz since September 2006, and it is highly unusual for him to give up on a star client without an attempt to keep him in his stable of fighters. King made the announcement at the final press conference for the event, named "History in Cancun."

King then announced his resignation.

"I bring this up to you today because, like Fred Levin, I have made a decision to no longer promote Juan Diaz after Saturday's fight. And it's not because I wouldn't like to continue to work with Juan. It's for the same reason the esteemed Fred Levin quit. I will no longer work with Juan's manager Willie Savannah."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Needless to say, I'm a little worried about my Diaz parlay. Campbell is a DK fighter, so there's plenty to be concerned about here. My play on Diaz was partly based on the DK promotion and location of the fight. Now the DK factor is working against me, and I never bet against the juice...esp DK. A small hedge on Campbell +400 is a must given the situation

My parlay with Diaz is risking 1.35 to win 1.0

Hedge 25% of profits....Campbell +400...lay .25 to win 1.0

Adding Peter KO1, KO2 and KO3, each 5 for 70. In case Peter is angry and prepared, and Oleg really is stiff and finished.

The line on peter moved down to -400 and that's good enough for me. A 39 yr old that's been ktfo 5 times and facing a heavy handed guy like Peter doesn't bode well for him. The way to beat the Ruskies/eastern Euros is to back them up. They can't fight backing up and taken out of their element. I'm a little concerned with the way Peter almost got kod himself by Big Time but Masc is more of a wearing down his opponent type fighter. He can bang but I don't think he can sustain anything to get Peter out of there and I do think his only shot is to knock Sam out. I have a few bucks on Sam. I may also add Peter by ko but going to wait on that.

I think Nate is a live dog. I'm not going to wager it but Diaz will have his hands full. Nate is definitely going to bring it...just a matter of whether or not he has it any more. Campbell absolutely killed me when he fought Kid Diamond. That was one of my worst losses.

if you hurry there is still time to hedge your Oleg play before the fight starts.

you will probably come in after the fight and say you did and broke even.:SIB

good luck with your play however much that is

It's an off TV fight. I imagine it might be going on now or 1/2 hr from now since the telecast should be strting about 9 est. Most of us are counting on the over. Good luck.

I have the over on ruiz -310, Peter -400, and just added peter by ko -200.

Thanks. Im on the over as well, and was relieved to see you were lol.

Peter KO is the prediction of many credible people, it's -155 at 5d right now. The line is too good in my opinion, I played it, not sure if ill keep it. Good luck.
