Thats not an easy fight to call IMO.

Williams should win because of his youth and Wright inactivity, but prime for prime I think Winky wins.

Williams has the reach, but he usually doesnt use it, I think Winky will be able to find him with the jab rather easily. Williams will throw more, no doubt, but I could imagine that Wright will land at a better rate. His defence is certainly better.

So far its no play for me, but I see this as a competetive fight which will go many rounds...

@gw
I think Williams was really struggling with the weight before the fight against Quintana, he certainly didnt look the same...I dont think this will happen here.

point taken....but i`m not 100% sure about the weight iissue..if you check williams` weights in his last few fights he came into some big fights fights in the 145 range...

he`s fighting at middleweight here...and winky`s listed at 5`10" and a half...so if boxrec is correct,the height differential isn`t as absurd as it usually is in williams` welterweight fights...

if this were a prime,active winky,i wouldn`t hesitate taking him as a dog...but the inactivity has to be a concern...

i keep thinking back to how we all thought that mosley was gonna get wrecked by margarito....and we all know that wright has two convincing wins(my opinion) over mosley.....

I have Williams on points, hedged by Wright on points and Williams late ko.

If it's close, and i believe it will, Wright gets shafted on the cards.
