I actually thought my call on this fight was going to come correct. Martinez wins the early rounds, Pavlik wins the middle and then Kelly steamrolls him late. But Martinez showed some balls against the bigger man. It's about time he got a well deserved win

I think Pavlik ought to consider retirement. Yes, he could beat nearly every other middleweight but making weight is a struggle and he will simply get beaten every which way against the iron at 168. He made good money, he's a good corn fed guy that would probably make a tremendous commentator.
I'm glad Martinez got what he deserved. The Cintron fight still chafes me even though I didn't play it. The Williams fight was close and could have gone either way although I thought Martinez won. Martinez can own the middle's for a few years. Although there are some Jr. middles that may move up and give him a go. You all know who that might be. Anyway, I look forward to more from the gritty Argentinean.

Sergio Martinez was brilliant and I really wish I had gone with my gut there.....Quanah and Kramden backed Martinez and were spot on

In the same boat as you brother. Had a VERY solid week. Took my daughter to the big city for the night so I missed both fights.
Green BIG, Thompson and under big, Gut for a loss med and Bute for a small win. Only regret was not getting on Bute for the decnt odds and Bute itd was very tempting but didnt want to part with good profits. CONGRATS to all those that wagered Mart! No wager for me but I envisioned the fight pretty much the same as Weepaul did and thought Pav would get him late.
