Adding a small hedge...

Bell over Adamek +155...lay .20 to win .30

Was hoping for props on this fight, but I'm not surprised they didn't surface. I have Adamek in a parlay getting +115, was hoping for +250 on a Bell by KO prop, instead I'll just play him straight to cover the potential loss.

i was looking for that bell by k.o. prop too,brother.....those s.o.b.`s are slick....

btw..on that saritzu/inom over you mentioned in our correspondence,i think you have it right...i now have it in a parlay...nice gets for you (we hope)on some of these more obscure fights and props........

also parred the diaconu umder, though i`ve never seen him....or henry....

i`m getting high speed net tuesday,so i`ll be able to help out on some of the unfamiliar fighters after seeing them on youtube or the streams that i don`t have access to now.....

I was planing on playing Bell via KO, but after watching a few fights I changed my mind. I thought Adamek had looked terrible in his post Dawson fights, but to me, he was not that bad. Bell, on the other hand, kind of disappointed me. Bell is just to indolent. He is not good enough to that kind of lazy behavior. I will be surprised if he can win in Poland. In my book, Adamek has the tools to handle Bell. I'm on Adamek tonight, and I'm also having a piece of Adamek via KO at +400.

bell is a fricking enigma....i never thought he was a "great" fighter....and i`ve had doubts about him even being "very good"...

he inevitably looks terrible for 8 to 10 rounds then finds a way to get his opponent out of there when it looks least likely....

he carries his power late and,i have to admit, does have a strong will to win....it just never manifests itself until his back`s against the wall...

i think,in a nutshell,he`s lazy....

glad you posted,hellephant...i`m gonna check for a "bell by late stoppage" kind of prop to hedge my adamek parlay......if he stops adamek,it will be late,imo...

hope adamek carries the extra weight well....

Ouch, it went the distance.

From skimming an RBR thread, it sounds like it was a brutal fight, both guys showed great chins.

Sounds like it was a good pick, but fortune was on the other side.

One strong play for me:

Diaconu-Henry UNDER 11.5 rounds -135 (2 units)
Diaconu-Henry UNDER 9.5 rounds +120 (1 unit)

Those 2 fighters have killer instincts and both loves KO. Diaconu coach, when asked if he agreed with the experts saying the fight will end quickly, told this morning on the air that he wasnt expecting the fight to go all the way at all !!! A KO by either side is likely what will happen!

when you return from "ufc gsp",you have some `splainin` to do ,lucy!......:nono:

lol...i kid....still,this is a bad omen for the canadian diety vs matt serra.....

bad karma....

nice call...the strange thing is he was in no difficulty...he was catching some jabs....

his game is to come on with late pressure....

no other way to say it....bell "quit"...reminiscent of duran`s "no mas"....

that really surprised me

I bet the under at -120 a couple of days ago. I have not seen Henry but from what I heard, he is no boxer. A little strange that they put over/under at 11,5 and even more strange that very little money is coming in on the under.

Calzaghe-Hopkins just started round 8

As posted, I had two parlays riding on the fight starting the 8th, but personaly I had much more than that

If the fight goes the distance, it will be gravy on top of the Over 7 rounds

Anybody knows Ledermans scorecard after 3 rounds. Thanks!

BTW, nice week!!!

I played the over, Hopkins WPTS, and a very nice double chance either fighter knocked down - which was a hedge + fight ends in any kind of split or majority decision. :)

I was on Calzaghe WPTS also, but hedged that away because of Ewan and Golden Boy Promotions judging.....

BTW, I dont know if there are any gamebookers customers here, but their MD / SD prop, which they offer for some fights is pretty good (+500 for this fight).

I'm already on that one for Chagaev Valuev.

MD / SC includes Majority and Split decision draws also.

good job on the +1000 zags spl dec box. It was an ugly ass fight, typical of hop. It was nice to clear all those pending wagers finally.

I had alot of wagers this week and ended up about 1800. As I said, i bought back more than half the zags wager but like box said, it saved me some shorts in the 1st rd. I threw in zbic today at very long odds but that added 230...the exact amount for the hotel I'm at tonight. Life is very good! What an April!
