The Floyd-Mosley undercard is pretty decent.
Lots of rising prospects in step up bouts.

Saul Alvarez (31-0) vs. Jose Miguel Cotto (31-1)
Daniel Ponce de Leon (38-2) vs. Cornelius Lock (19-4)
Hector David Saldivia (33-1) vs. Said Ouali (26-3)
Eloy Perez (16-0) vs. Gilberto Sanchez Leon (21-6)

Exclusive Interview With Brian Minto - "I'm Planning On Bringing The Cruiserweight Division A New Superstar"
http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=23392&more=1

I put a buck on Minto +900. Huck is a good solid fighter but he's certainly not an elite and he never will be. Huck has had at least 3 very tough fights..USS, Ramiraz and Olfalabi. Minto isn't a bad fighter. I wouldn't rate him world class but he has the pop and tenacity to give Huck a run for his money. Huck should absolutely be favored here but I think the line is off. Huck is not Adamak @ cruiser. He's just a good solid fighter but beatable. I expect a tough fight for him.

putting a little on minto myself +850...the guy`s spent most of his career fighting much bigger guys...and for the most part, winning....

he`s a gamer....wondering how much the weight cut affects him... how much quicker huck will be.....and minto`s been in some serious wars.... there`s some serious mileage on minto... but there`s also some hard bark on the dude...

he`s experienced,tough...and can punch a bit...he might need a k.o....but,as i said, the guy can punch some......and he`s not working against the usual enormous height disadvantage...

well worth a throwaway at +850..

He's not on the Chris "Bird" diet here. Byrd looked anorexic in his fight w/George. Minto has been fighting with that baby fat for a long time and he's on wt now. I like the fact that he's been working with Roach and that conditioning pro Ariza @ the Wild Card. It would be another plus if Roach made the trip to Germany. Roach is a genius when it comes to fight plans. I really think Minto is going to be competitive in this one. Thing is, he'll allmost need a ko or a dominating performance to take this in Germany. Not a fight to wager a bundle but worth a "tickle" @these nice +odds

Darren Corbett over John Anthony Small[/B]

I'm following you on this one. :toast:
You never know in this 3 rounders and Corbett is rather inactive and his chin is pretty easy to crack but this cat Small beat only one fighter with a winning record.

The more I think about this fight, the more I think we should be OK. Corbett looked really good in last prizefighter. He outpointed in first round in prime Steeds. The same Steeds who beat John Antony. The difference is Steeds who beat John Antony was a green youngster, Steeds who lost to Corbett was in prime. So anyway I look at this fight I like Corbett.
The main thing I like about him how confident he was in fight with Steeds. I think he knows how to outpoint opponent in 3 rounder, at least in first fight of the evening.
