Money really got mosley at the right time!!!
I alway's thought Mosley from 10 years ago could beat Mayweather but now I'm not sure.

I know 10 years ago he would have opened up big time after hurting May.

May stood his ground tonight and shows how frightening he can be.
I hate the Cunt but he is a boxing machine.

I still mantain Suger Ray Robinson would have crushed him during his Welter hey day :director:

I knew mayweather couldn't KO Shane.

"the bunker"
i actually lost a pack of cigarettes tonight...i honestly thought it would be more competitive...that`s why i hedged the floyd decision prop pars(3) with a flat mosely bet(and i lost 2 small dogs in minto and lock)....

he seemed to sap mosely`s will around the 4th or 5th...mosely basically went through the motions from that point on....

now to get these pending parlays home and make the night worthwhile......

congrats guys...

Man, I know a few guys mentioned this in the thread, but how AWFUL was Chris Brown's version of the star spangled banner?

Dude beat that song up worse than he beat....well, you get the idea....it sounded terrible....where is R Kelly when you need him?

For me this week is all about Floyd

Mayweather Jr F v Mosley S starts 8
-250 -> WIN
Mayweather Jr F v Mosley S starts 9
-200 -> WIN
Mayweather Jr F v Mosley S starts 10
-150 -> WIN
Floyd Mayweather -320 -> WIN
VERY BIG on double chances and sure bets.
Some small/mid amounts on Lederman props.
-> 2 out of 3 WIN
Mosley inside at +900 as a small hedge.
Not to forget Draw at +10000 for a few bugs...

In addtion to the main event: (small / mid)
Huck inside / Huck fight not the distance and some DCs -> WIN especially the DCs starts 9 under 9,5 :00hour
Sadi at +300 -> WIN

Still, like Pac:142smilie :142smilie :mj07: :mj07: but I believe Mayweather got himself MUCH physically stronger during his hiatus. He's in his prime and little Floyd has found his man strength.

He's not the same dude that fought 8 scared rounds against De la hoya.

We'll see what he does, many options. Will he ever move to 54 and fightt a killer like Kirkland or then speedy lefty Martinez. Coming off a win like this, those are the fights Floyd should take. And they would be compelling.

I doubt the Pac fight will ever get made.

Money definately found his man strength. That was a different fighter in there last night. The clincher b4 the fight was seeing Mos with the ceremonial tats. Tatoo jinx strikes again. When are these guys going to learn?

I like Money over Pacman and I wagered it last night -135 max bet. Line is now off the board. For you guys that like Pac, you are going to get some decent + odds when they come back on.

50 mil each. I can't see this not happening.

edit: didnt place my wager there but bodog shows pac +120, Money -150. Keep in mind your wager can get tied up til the end of the year if the fight doesnt happen. -135 was worth it to me.

Yep,tats are no good. It is a jinx and always a bad psychological sign when someone sullies their body. At least Mosley got some money but he's still stuck with that ridiculous body art.

I'm sure the odds will inflate on Money. That's good for me. Pac will hurt Money.

Money wouldn't get a tat

Money wouldn't get a tat

I'm giving begrudging respect to Mayweather. He's found a renewed vigor with his time off and this will probably boost his confidence to take meaningful fights. He'd be crazy not to fight on with the dinero he can expect to make over the next several years. He's hot property right now.

He's finally turned himself into a draw but he'll have to fight credible people from here on out - no Henry Bruseles types.

:142smilie :142smilie :mj07: :mj07:

And you know what's funny, in spite of his braggadocio and gangsta wannabe stuff, his body is his temple and he would NEVER put ink on his skin. He ain't a stupid man. And he does train with the vigor of a upcoming, still hungry fighter.

Nazim made a good point in the corner when he said to Shane, Mayweather is special because of his conditioning. Good statement.

My main gripe him with was cherry picking for years and the whole testing debacle, which I still think he is way out of line, but if he fights people my irritation with him dissipates a great deal.

I still think Golden Boy needs to bring in more experienced matchmakers

I mean christ

they get Ortiz smacked by Maidana (which everyone thought was a dangerous bout going in)
they get Saldivia smoked by Ouali in his first US bout
and they were VERY close to have their 19 year old prize, Canelo, go down in the first against Cotto's bro. I could mention countless other guys they have gotten knocked off (Charlie Huerta against Wison, Johnny Gonzalez against Nishioka, Escobedo against Jimenez, etc.)

They still got Erislandy Lara and Danny Garcia undefeated, but we will see how that goes.

In general, they are over-rating the guys they got and putting them in too tough too early. Makes for fun fights, but bad bets.

We agree on most boxing topics but I think this Cotto was a good fight for Alvarez and a good barometer to see where he is. GBP has indeed put their fighters in too tough too early. Cotto isn't known to be a big puncher and he's really a blown up 135 lber. I was so certain Alv was going to win this that I took -900 straight and put it in parlays. I was soooo close to having a good week absolutely ruined. Alv can put his punches together well and showed decent power but unless he corrects his defensive flaws he's going to get jacked v a top fighter. He reminds me of Andy lee. Even after 6-7 rds last night I wasn't convinced he wouldnt get caught again. He's only 19 so he has time. Any ideas of putting him in with floyd were quickly put to an end last night. Alv is not top 10 and probably not even top 15. I think they should take him the Chavez jr route and make the most dough with the least amount of risk. And they better keep him the puck away from genuine punchers.
