George's work rate is poor, if not very poor. But Byrd has been disappointing every single fights since Holyfield. In this one he'll have to chase again, much like he chased Oquendo and Williamson

Kirkland will jump on Albert. I expect Albert to come on though. Everything looks like being on the inside. I can see Albert doing well.

Very poor quality on the stream. I understand Angulo was hurt two times! With the bad stream, it looked like Margarito and Oliver McCall was in the ring slugging it out...
I had a pretty good week. Won on Branco over, then cleaned up on Angulo and kirkland. The venue was offering crazy odds on Kirkland @-200. That essentially resulted in free betting with the online sites offering -550. I bet the max twice which moved the line to -250 but by fight time the line was actually -180 due to last min albert bettors. I wasn't aware or else i would have put down even more. I hedged Angulo and Kirkland online so it wouldn't be a huge loss if one of the two didn't win. It was sweet the way it turned out. I erased my losses from 2 weeks and then some. I'm leaving vegas on a very good note.
What a great night in Primm! Primo seats thx to Punch for all of 57.00. What a steal. I was impressed by all 3 fighters. I think Gamboa shows the most potential. From what I saw, he'll be a champion inside 18 mnths. Kirkland is an animal and he never let Albert breathe. I was a little nervous due to the ht advant but Kirkland put any nervousness to rest inside of 10 secs. He gave albert NO room to move or punch and it was evident early Kirk was on a mission.Angulo showed major heart in taking on a VERY tough Gutierrez and coming back from being rocked to stop the game fighter.

That was a very good card for serious fight fans, being there and with good seats...it doesn't get any better than that. Glad you had a great time, I'm thinking about heading that way in the near future, but thats punchy's neck of the woods, I'd have to keep my guard up and protect myself at all times

I would think maybe Margarito-Cotto weekend 7/26? would be the time to go. 108 degrees of course. I think Romi's seriously considering going That's going to be a tough ticket. MGM seats 15, 800 or so and Cotto's Puerto Rican fans are demanding more than 6k seats. Smart move for location by Arum because all Margarito's growing Mexican fans base will attend - easy sell out. Paq Diaz in June. Holt Torres also in Vegas early June.

Like Punch mentioned Marg/Cotto will be a serious contender for FOTY. I'm going to try and make it. I booked a hotel just in case. 6k Puerto Ricans should create quite a raucous. There will probably be an equal amt of Mexican fans and that's one rivalry I'm not so sure I want to be in the middle of.
