Great week for scalps...
Just played Williams -150 at Sportsbook and Matthysse +172 at Pinnacle setting up free money on Williams
Played the Briggs under 3.5 +110 at Sportsbook and the over 3.5 +101 at Pinnacle setting up free money on the under
Played both for the limit, could make close to $100 just on scalps this week

Adding
Williams by 12 round decision +390...lay .1 to win .4
3-1 for +1.5 units this week so far, playing with the books money and plenty of it so I'll risk a little to make another half unit
Matthysse has never been stopped and while Williams has some power, I expect him to be on the defensive most of this fight, using his jab and southpaw stance to keep distance between them staying outside and out of range.
Matth will probably use a lot of energy early knowingit will be hard to win on points and his power will fade late, lets hope he paces himself a little.
With the over 8.5 now being slightly favored, and all the early money going to Matt, I see plenty of value in this prop.

Sportsbook will be offering live betting on the Gonzalez-Montiel fight tonight
I think Montiel is the better fighter but he gives up a lot of height, plenty of reach, and some power to the naturaly bigger Gonzalez. So I'll watch a few rounds before placing a wager.

montiel will probably look good early.....he`s definitely the faster,better technician....
not sure how the 3 pounds affects his power...might help....he can punch a bit himself...
i put a little on him...because he`s been good to me...
he has to be on his toes for the full 12,though....
it`s usually tough to step up in weight vs top flight guys...
very tough bout to call..with conviction...

Gonzalez is +150 after the 3rd...looks tempting as I think Montiel will fade late and Gonz looks like he's taking punches well

i`m watching the ufc....gonzales must have worn him down and dominated......i saw one 118-111 score.......

Gonzalez didn't dominate, the 118-111 score was way off. I had it 115-113 Montiel as he built up an early lead
As posted, after the 7th round Montiel was -270...after the 8th, 9th, and 10th he was -330 or more as it appeared he was far enough ahead on the cards. When I saw -280 before the final round I figured the worst I could do was a draw, so I played it small with the Williams scalp money...oh well

I had it a draw. Although I could have seen a 2 point win for either guy. 118-111 though was just a bad card, real bad. I'd be curious to see the official cards.
