nice work box. got down on baloyi but seeing that pinny and mansion are my only two outs right now i missed on the other (unless it was posted today and I missed it). regardless, it looks like 5dimes would be my best bet in terms of getting the majority of the wagers/opportunities you find, correct?

If you have pinny and 5dimes you're pretty much covered. I also use sportsbook, and bet365 is a Euro book that covers fights and offers props that other books don't cover.

Well, nice to win the Baloyi fight but I kind of felt bad for Medina. Gave it a good shot. Hope he hangs it up. But it was a satisfying win anyway.

mayorga.....i think it`s a huge stretch to say that castillo is a better boxer/technician than corrales....

castillo is a pressure fighter...period...he has skills...but,he`s not a "pure boxer"...he`s a "put hurt on you" guy...

he was outboxed early by casamayor...and pressured his way to a win by wearing casa down in the later rounds....

the height is a huge issue.....if you utilize it....we saw what corrales was able to do with casamayor...

chico can use that height to his advantage...he didn`t "punish" casamayor in the second fight...he outboxed him from a distance...used that height to outbox the master boxer..keep him at a distance...he outpointed casa despite a knockdown......

i believe that if he stands inside again,it`s just a matter of time...

i`m not saying that corrales is better at what he does that castillo...just go back and read my threads on the first 2 fights....he should have won both,imo...

i`m saying that i believe that chico has a better "plan b" than castillo...he showed it vs casamayor...

castillo has a fantastic plan a...pressure..skilled pressure...bur still,that`s his game...every time out...he doesn`t change....

did he outbox lazcano?...no he wore him down..beat him up....he was being outboxed by diaz...but he wore him down...

he`s a powerful pressure fighter...with skill....

not a "boxer",per se...

chico CAN box....and if he uses the jab...the height...he has the power to keep you honest and make sure you aren`t reckless getting inside...

i say,that if chico doesn`t do something a little different,he`ll get stopped again....

and maybe...probably even if he does change up....

i just don`t see the sense in standing inside again with a guy that`s stronger,has a better chin...and a major height disadvantage...

i don`t care if your forte is fighting inside...the other guy does it better than you...he`s a welterweight fighting at lightweight..

box a little..give him angles...make him constatantly reset...use your god given advantage...your height....

Muttley dropped Anderson in the 2nd and was well ahead on the cards after 9 rounds. Then Anderson caught him and finished him in the 10th

i upped my baloyi play when i saw you also liked it...had a small play on anderson based on my british contact......sounds like i lucked out at -150....

i`d surely like to see harding spit in father time`s eye friday night....

flipper...i really don`t see corrales gutting out another trench warfare win vs castillo....

and i`m skeptical that he can stay disciplined a nd box for 12 once the blood rises...

but who knows....with chico`s offense,anything can happen...

Castillo wasn't getting outboxed by Diaz at all :shrug: He did get outboxed by Casamayor for a good bit of the fight but Casamayor don't box like Corrales and styles make fights. The only reason Corrales beat Casamayor in the 2nd fight was his power. Casamayor wasn't willing to engage so Corrales outworked him for a good bit of the fight on the outside. I firmly believe that Casamayor was intimidated by Corrales's power from the first fight. Casamayor was never agressive in that fight until the end though. Lastly, where were Corrales and Castilo at when Castillo dropped him in the first fight? When Floyd Mayweather can barely outbox you, Corrales isn't going to outbox you. A lot of people SEVERELY underate Castillo's skills. he's not just some guy who plods forward, he has some real skills. He gets himself into proper position to punch, and has some very good feints. Not to mention he can throw every punch in the book very well, it makes him real tough to outbox.

That Medina Over was kinda tricky, if you played the 10.5 at big odds...you cashed.

I'm not worried about the Muttley loss, small play at good value. Apparently Muttley used all his juice early, sounds like one hell of a fight.

Anyone else notice the Butler/Fulton round prop? They were offering "fight starts 2nd round" at -170...I had to play it small.
It was a late play and I wasn't real sure about it, so I didn't post it. Butler stopped him in the 2nd round.



If Corrales changes his style for this fight, he'll be getting out of his A game where he is comfortable. I agree that standing in a phone booth and slugging it out with Castillo could end badly, but I think it gives him a better chance of winning than trying something new against a guy like Castillo who will be in his grill all night long regardless of Diego's strategy.

I think the fight comes down to Castillo's conditioning/strength after struggling to make weight. If he is at 100% I don't think it matters what Diego's strategy is, he'll have to catch Castillo to beat him. If Castillo is weak it won't take long for Corrales to feel it and end it.

I'm sure Corrales/Goosen will have a very nice planned strategy in which you will see the best of Corrales...Also, Castillo is a great fighter and Corrales will be ready if the belts are on the line...This fight will be a great one just like the first time they squabbed.

Any of you guys gonna be at this fight? Not too late for Box to hop on a plane.

castillo weighed 139.5 there's almost no way he can lose 4.5 pounds, so the fights' probably off, ruining my saturday night.

Yeah I was there at the weigh in...Bummer...Castillo has two hours to lose 2lbs and then Corrales will decide wheter or not to fight Castillo under these disappointing circumstances.
