Shobox Friday AND Saturday

Shobox Friday AND Saturday

6 Shobox bouts in two nights - bravo Showtime.

Otherwise, a relatively quiet week.

The biggest bout, by world standards, is Austin Trout's title defense in Mexico vs. David Lopez.

No huge fights, but possibly a lot of betting opportunities, if the linemakers dont mind!

Also, 5d has got odds out on the prizefighter winner tomorrow. Bravo to them too!

I like this mid-week prizefighter. Mid-week action good for us boxing junkies!

Kayode Ugly (not that he's ugly but his last fight sure was) has something to prove. And the once talented Matt Godfey needs a credibility injection as well. Interesting bout.

Yes, this is a nice option to have available.

Previously, dimes only offered first round bouts.

Nice to have long odds on the overall tourney winner - makes for a good time watching the entire broadcast (although very tough to predict who can win 3 BOUTS, let alone 1).

I like this prizefighter. Upsets are common in these tournaments, but I see a definitive gulf in class in the first round. I think all 4 favs hold serve and advance. Hibbert could be better than expected against McIntyre. McDonagh is a useful journeyman but he is 16-20 after all, so he can certainly be beat. El Maachi coming down from JM, McDonagh coming up from JW, so El Maachi should be too strong.

Second round:
El Maachi over Lynes
McIntyre upsets Witter

Final:
El Maachi over McIntyre.

- I parlayed the first round favs, then some without McIntyre.
- I've got El Maachi straight against McD - small.
- El Maachi wins tournament @ +440 - solid play
- Also hedged with Witter, McIntyre, and Lynes. If any of these guys win I'll break about even on the winner prop. If El Maachi wins - big bucks!
