Box, between Valdez and Chambers, which do you feel has the better chance of winning?

About the same, but if I had to choose I'd say Chambers. To be honest, I wouldn't lay the wood on any of those parlay options. I'd play these straight...Kahn Under 9.5 -260, Tamara-Esquer Over 9.5 -400, and McCollough Over 9.5 -320...before I'd lay 8-1 on those parlay options

"the bunker"
a friend of mine who`s seen both guys in person likes arreola alot tonight...

he gave me some reasoning.....which i`ll pass on...

arreola is hungrier

arreola`a been fighting since he was 8...witherspoon took it up at 20..

witherspoon is a college grad...a cerebral guy that doesn`t fight with much fire...arreola doesn`t have any other options....he allegedly didn`t sleep on a bed until he was 15 years old...

he says that maybe witherspoon is more technically sound, but, arreola isn`t without talent and he`s stronger....

and the gist of his argument is that arreola just needs it more...wants it more...

he just thinks that arreola`s a guy that won`t be denied...

 ...truthfully,theres alot of supposition in his argument, nothing that you can really hang your hat on... so,do with it what you will....

i added another parlay with arreola basically on this info...but,now that the odds have gone through the roof, laying -270 straight is out of the question...this should be a competitive bout...

just an fyi....

I found a few props I like for tonight, adding these...

Abraham by Split dec +1000...lay .05 to win .50

Miranda by Split dec +1500...lay .05 to win .75

Either fighter has a point deducted +400...lay .10 to win .40

My play's are-

McDermott beats Elcock (Large).

Arreola beats Witherspoon (Large).

Miranda beats Abraham (Very small).

Gomez beat Khan (Very small). I see a Khan blow out but I had to put some on Gomez after watching Khan get decked badly by the feather fisted Limond.

Good luck all.

Weepaul, what was the deal with that Elcock fight. How the heck can McDermott lose when the fight was stopped in round 2 on a headclash- that must be a British rule? In USA if that happens before round 4, it's a TD??? Don't know you from a hole in the wall but feel for you on that one- that's a rip off and a bad beat if I ever heard one. Even heard McDermott was snapping Elcock's head back a bit late in the first round. I threw away a few bucks that Gomez lands a lucky bomb also. That fight better not go too many rounds!!!!!!!!!

Punch-I am taking a run down to the Palms on Monday to check on Judah-Clottey. Was there this morning; nothing yet. Todd is their boxing guy. Not in today. If you are around, maybe you can take a run down there also. We can discuss lines, if posted.

I had Elcock winning the first round on activity but Mac WAS snapping Elcocks head back and he landed 3 ripping uppercuts.

It looked to me like he was warming up to the task.
He got headbutted badly in the first 20 seconds of round 2 and his eye started to swell straight away and he had a gash UNDER the eye. They did not let him finish the round to see if his corner could patch it up and there was no blood getting into the eyes.

By rights, Ricky Hatton should have lost to Jon Thaxton before he was champ as Ricky was cut far worse and allowed to continue.
They should get rid of these squeemish Doctors, after all, this is not tiddly winks. :nono:

I can't believe the British rules reward the guy who does the headbutting.
Evander should have had all his fights in Britain. He would still be undefeated today. :mj07:

Good idea, think I'll stop in The Playboy Club while I'm at it.

Kahn stopped Gomez in the 5th

As posted, I have a 5 team parlay riding on Berto at even money (to win .35), he was -600 when I put him in the parlay and now the other side is +700

Adding a hedge to lock in the profit risk free...

Rodriguez over Berto +700...lay .05 to win .35

...i`m very comfortable with miranda....i think he`ll win.....and things have gone exceptionally well the last few weeks....maybe that`s why i`m getting a bad vibe about the big fight.....

i honestly am very at ease with miranda.....all the advantages in this fight seem to swing our way....

why am i getting the feeling that abraham is gonna be the turd in the punchbowl?....

hope i`m wrong..
