As I expected, Vanda can't hurt Campos

Unfortunatly Campos is starting to hurt Vanda in the 6th

I knew there was a chance of that, but I thought Vanda would run the entire fight. Maybe he will start now.

oh well...lose the samaniego/castillo parlay.....hit the samaniego under.....strangely....

it`s fitting that mayorga and i were discussing guys fighting on the road.....samaniego...a slow starter....obviously past his prime.....lost 5 of the 6 rounds on the judges scorcards at the time of the stoppage....????...lol

and the cut was caused by a headbutt?....lol again...

lowry basically calls the fight himself by saying he couldn`t see....granted,a bad cut....the bleeding was stopped....wasn`t a ton of blood....but,it`s funny that the fighter just said he couldn`t continue because he couldn`t see....

boxing 101...fighting on the road...bad business...

well,i`ll take a split..feel sort of lucky......the big stuff tomorrow....

still want to parlay castillo with something....

Places in the US like Michigan and Minnesota are actually much worse than Japan. If I were a fighter i would fight in Japan but no ****ing way would I fight in Michigan or Minnesota. They are both absolutely horrible.

i wasn`t besmirching japan...maybe i came off that way....

the japanses may be the most honorable, civilized people on the face of the earth...

it`s pretty amazing watching a pride show....watching the audience...and then watching a ufc show in atlantic city....

looks like an example of the evolutionary chain....with us being at the bottom....

but,i stick to my guns....home court means something...even in japan...

some places are down right ridiculous....like minny....

and maybe...if it`s close tomorrow night...like atlantic city....

it kinda sounds like a short night to me.

Brock needs it to get in the spotlight.

It was a short night, but the fight still went over the total by 1 minute.

A lot of cash was lost on the under, glad I stayed off it.

Galvan's corner throws in the towel at the end of the 4th

Wish I would have scalped, the under was +155 by fight time

Oh well, small play

I hear ya, wasn't Maussa at least +1200?

Who thought the under would be cashed by Maussa stopping Harris, those bettors would have been screwed if a Harris by KO line was available.

Spread, don't tell me you're hedging Mayweather. We just had our big upset of the night.

Where's the S.Africa results?

Easy money fellas!!!

Mayweather and the under were golden

Like I said, Mayweather will school him in the first few rounds and stop him in the mid to late rounds

I played Mayweather HUGE

Time to celebrate

"""""but,i will say again...look at his competition since his rebirth.... a shot millett, ward 3 times...branco,dorin,leija.....

all either smallish, over the hill or fighting above weight... smallish except branco and ward......branco can`t punch...ward takes a beating in the dressing room by the guy using the target mitts(lol).....

they both fought manfredy in the same year...he k.o.`ed gatti....mayweather k.o.`ed manfredy in 2....granted,7 years ago...

and ivan roninson gave gatti fits....mayweather is a sort of robinson....times 10....

gatti has to jump on floyd...how many times have we seen guys that are underdogs win when they take the fight right to the fave,recently....notice how tentative glen johnson was in the second fight...and tarver picked him to pieces... i know he loves that new jab...but he won`t outbox floyd,jr......

who gave floyd the most trouble?....not corrales....who stood outside and got the hell beat out of himself....

it was castillo....who pressured floyd....he may have actually won the first fight...

gatti has to jump on floyd...and hurt him to the body...push him to the ropes..get the pro-gatti crowd into it...build some momentum early...ala ricky hatton....if ricky had been patient, tszyu would still be champ....and johnson wouldn`t have beaten jones and tarver....and brewster wouldn`t have beaten golota..barrera/morales 3....pacquaio/marquez.....etc...etc...

if you are out-talented(not so in all of the above),you have to start quickly...and,as i said, i actually think that the judges, with the crowd and all, will be looking to help gatti if possible...that`s what i think...

but,if he stands outside with mayweather,i doubt he goes 12... floyd will pick him to pieces...much like corrales..

i`m not sold on mcgirt as a super trainer....i think he`ll have gatti do what he did with the shorter, less quick guys like leija..... and that`s a mistake..

he was outboxed by manfredy and robinson... and if i recall, gatti was having some trouble with branco ...i remember mcgirt telling gatti after the 8th that he "had to win the last 4 rounds"....

branco..fairly slow...jab and a right hand...no power...but he was dropping the right hand on gatti early...maybe gatti overlooked him...but,gatti struggles with boxers that are around his height...

he has to use his size and those monster hooks to the body...

if he takes the fight to floyd....uses that strength to bully floyd....gets the crowd into it...gets big crowd reaction every time he does something positive....and doesn`t break up,who knows... it`s boxing...

who thought castillo could fluster floyd?....but,he did...

but........in the real world...

mayweather ...possibly via a cut or multiple punch stoppage late...if gatti thinks he`s a boxer vs this caliber of fighter, and tries to be cute,it could get real ugly...

i have alot tied up in parlays with floyd,jr.....so i`m hedging gatti at 8-1 inside the distance....and maybe a little by decision if the odds are high enough...

styles make fights...and i see this as a bad style for gatti..."""

amen.....the gatti charade is over....if mcgirt was half as good a trainer as he was at protecting gatti, you`d have something....

he had exactly the absolute worst strategy possible for gatti....to stand outside and box him....

mcgirt is a clown as a trainer....there,i said it...

but,he manuevered gatti into a huge payday....and actually had some believing that gatti was a great fighter....

kudos to mcgirt for getting gatti to a place he really shouldn`t have been...and getting him paid...

and even though no plan would probably have changed the outcome, boooo to mcgirt for not at least letting gatti try to win by going after mayweather...

horrible fight plan...

floyd was fantastic...vs the perfect opponent and a gameplan that floyd couldn`t have drawn up anymore favorably for himself.....

why didn`t i drop a few on maussa?...i saw him discourage resto...i knew he`d be difficult....

oh well,why be greedy.....

congrats all...i doubt that anybody at jacks even thought about gatti....

chavez` son...at a very young 19, is showing us some talent.....

when the kid totally matures,he may be something...has all the punches...just needs some manly strength...

has the one thing his old man didn`t have....serious height and reach....

didn`t think he was all that...looks like he may become a real problem for guys to deal with a few years down the road...

Looks like Castillo beat Ishihara by decision. Pinnacle had the off time wrong. I hope I don't get my bet voided because I took the Mayweather $$$ and parlayed it onto Castillo as soon as it was graded.

"He's fast, very fast," Gatti said. "I think I did very good for six rounds but I took too many shots to the head."

Gatti didn't help his own cause when he got knocked down in a bizarre sequence late in the first round while looking at referee Earl Morton to complain about being hit on the break. When Gatti turned his head and dropped his hands, Mayweather hit him with a left hook, knocking Gatti into the ropes and forcing an eight-count.

"You're supposed to protect yourself at all times," Mayweather said. "The ref let me fight."

Mayweather not only outboxed Gatti, but he outslugged the slugger whose brawls in this casino city had made him somewhat of a cult hero. Gatti took punishment to the head almost every time he tried to press the fight, often taking three or four hard punches to the head before he could get out of the way.
..........................................................................................

The thing that stood out to me about Mayweather was when he said before the fight " I aint losing to no one that has lost 6 fights."

He made it happen. Nice fight against a tough guy in Gatti.
