Just some afterthougts:

What was the Lederman prop on Pac +/- points after 3 rounds? Was it Pac -3'?
Just wondering if that 10-8 in round 2 had any meaning . . .

Joe, unlike manny, didn't have the benefit of slow-mo from 2-3 different angles; I think with all the BS we have seen that manny seems to "look past " while serving as "announcer" he went a little overboard with his "I'm angry" routine last night.

Steve and Mario was the best "watch" of the the night.

Pacman beat a slow guy with no power. As a lightweight? Don't know yet, let's see him in with somebody who doesn't usually get beat up. He has speed, but is not as fast as jim and manny are with their love fest of quips promoting his speed. He is faster than Diaz, no doubt. But he's not quite the wil 'o the wisp they constantly made him out to be last night. Hell, I look fast in the 40 against a turtle.

TIMBER!!!! When most of us said Fields is a bum we were actually wrong - he is much less than that.

i agree that manny`s folks picked the "runt" of the lightweight championship litter...

i`d like to see manny vs a zahir raheem or a joan guzman...

it`s not a super strong division ,so the manny legend appears to continue....

if not for 1 lousy point,jmm may be walking in manny`s shoes..

There's usually a +1.5 points prop after 3 rounds. If there is no knockdwon (10 8 round), its sufficient if the fighter with +1.5 points wins a single round.

I basically said this same thing on another site. This wasn't as much on how great Pac is but more about how bad Diaz is. Pac to me seems to leave himself open a whole lot.

I asked Odessa last night on chat if that 10-8 was significant and he also found it odd but said there was absoultely no money at any places he works with that would lead him to believe Lederman was being shady because of betting. He repolied something to effect that Harold must have been drunk already. :mj07:

But it sure was odd.:SIB

Speaking of Juan Manuel Marquez; he is fighting Joel Casamayor in Sept in Vegasat the MGM Grand. No line yet. If Robert Walker was still there a line would have been up a week ago. This new guy, Todd, is not as agressive it seems. At any rate, I think Marquez takes this one. No # on Judah-Clottey either. Also a few very astute guys feel Margarito, aside from a miracle, will not beat Cotto in July.

thanks for the added thoughts, guys.

Yeah,n I agree, Pac went the easy route, and left himself even more open for debate after declining to fight Marquez again; but, not in the mouths of Manny and Lampley (& why no 3rd man that night? no Max or Merchant?)

Mr. Costello, please say "hey" to my pal Odessa for me next time you chat; side note - I saw a 2' Men last night that had some great dialgue exchange between Elvis and Sean Penn.

Frank,
Wish I could catch JMM with you, but I just signed a 1 year deal with a multi-media co., will be leaving Vegas (and the US) next week;
I'm on a non-disclosure, can't say much about it until the public announcement in August, but should be fun and you'll hear of it I'm sure;
keepin' my place here but won't be able to return for a visit until Feb, ; take care, see ya in the forums,
Sonny
