"the bunker"
mercante didn`t stop the fight because it wasn`t the corner that threw in the towel......he stopped it because he didn`t want it to stop?.....

what?...

now what if foreman`s knee ends up like jared hess` knee(bellator a few weeks back)?....and as a pure boxer his career is ruined?....

where the hell does he get off making that decision?...particularly without a consult with the doctor at that point....

whoa...

Man, that was one of the most interesting forums to read up on in a long time... I'll tell you one thing for damn sure - my brother Matt has got to be sorry he made that post!!!! No big shakes Matt. It was a good post and Romi was right, you made it on the books behalf, to warn players NOT to do this. Don't go anywhere now...

I'm glad we got all that out of our system boys!!! I think we're all much more alike than we probably care to admit.

So, if I can now get to the matter at hand...

Vanes wins!!!! :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour

Wolak wins!!!! :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour

I win!!!! :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour

Yeefukinhaw!!!!!!! I needed a good week after last week's bludgeoning.

Well done boys!!! Here's to the best boxing forum on the web :toast: :toast: :toast: bookies, players, and all!!!!!

not fair to rope Yuri in with those two clowns, as he gave it a try

Just watched the fight. Foreman was never really in it. I thought more of the fight would be like rd 4 but Yuri not even in cottos class....even the faded version. Cotto has some options but I'm certain Manny or Margo won't be in the equation any time soon. Either of those 2 fights would be a swan song. Cotto v Berto perhaps??? Anywhos, congrats Weepaul ! Glad you made some dough on it. Nice comeback week for the entire crew.
Congrats all around :toast: :toast: :toast:

Thanks Romi!

Thanks Romi!

I'm going to put a pitchfork in the horse from the topic earlier today. To set the record straight, I in NO WAY condoned hitting the bad line. I have said it numerous times here regarding bad lines and past posting...just don't do it. I wasn't even knocking the book that essentially sent Matt packing. From a fellow gamblers perspective, it would have been nice had he just gotten a stern warning but can't really knock a book for doing what they did. I don't know Matt personally but he appears to be a cool standup guy. I know he is one of the better cappers here and he certainly doesn't need to cheat to make money at this. He made a mistake, had the courage to admit his mistake on a public forum and essentially just wanted to let others know not to do the same thing. I gave him props for that. This got WAYYYY blown out of proportion and misconstrued. Matt paid the price of getting axed from his book. If bettors in here didn't learn a lesson then they never will.

Well put Romi. I'm not saying I was innocent. I made a mistake out of greed. And by no means am I telling you guys how to handle your buisness. My intent was to let uninformed handicappers recognize that the consequences for betting on a bad line just once, no matter your intentions can be very heavy.

Let's get'em next week!

Hello Oddessa.

Hello Oddessa.

You guys are too good for me.

My name was dropped with Mayorgas as his 'pal.'

I'd bet dollars to donuts significant details were left out of Matts confession.

LOL again at your -5000/+1000 example. Another ridiculous effort to rationalize wrong doing.

Now go rob a gas station because they are overcharging you.

Thank you for your donations. I eat very well.

What did you want to know about the situation Oddessa?

The book never gave me a reason for lowering my limits. They just said, "Management reserves the right to limit the maximum amount wagered prior to acceptance of any bet". I tried to reason with them, because I had been getting action from them for a few years, but unfortunately there are no second chances with them. I believe their punishment did not fit the offense, but all I can do is report it and move on.

Btw, this misdeed was something totally out of character for me. There is no pattern of repeated wicked acts against any books. I am not a career criminal. Good Day.

... relax ...

... relax ...

Gents...

I think (hope) that we are all human and as you know human beeings make mistakes.

matt made one and instead of be quiet he told us that he did something wrong as a warning to everyone!

-> There is nothing worng with that...
YES he shouldn?t have bet on the wrong line, but I respect his courage to be honest without having any upside on telling the board.

:director: So I hope everyone can accept what happend and RELAX a litte!

-----------------------------------

Regarding the weekend...
I was on Silvester, Wolak under and Foreman that all did nor worked out that well. But lucky me I did some live betting on the Nappa fight that Ina quit for "no" reason, that could at least recover a nice part of the losses. (at the end you could get Hall at +2000)

-----------------------------------

Last but not least regarging limitations...
I get limited from time to time at books. Sometimes I understand why as I won a lot but sometime I do not get it.

There had been one book in particular... I lost nearly all bets I ever did with them playing a lot of dogs and they limited my acc. to 2-3? per event. That I do not get it all

Anyway I wish all of you a nice weekend!

Cheers
LotL

cotto`s height`s gonna hurt himvs guys that punch back with authority...

wouldn`t mind seeing cotto vs angulo..angulo`s very tough..and strong...but he`s technically limited......wondering whether cotto might be able to outbox angulo for 10?...

how much of a fave would angulo post as?...

Angulo may be one dimmensional but that is the one dimmension that Cotto needs to avoid. I don't think Shaw would sign that for less than 12
rds. That's a potentially winnable fight for Cotto but VERY risky. Cotto has options but he seriously needs to stay away from the bangers...Manny, Margo, Martinez are not going to happen anytime soon. Stewart is much too wise to ever put him in with Martinez. I think his next fight might very well be v Chavez Jr.
