only play i like so far this weekend

is green/crawford under 2.5 +200

I say Crawford takes a 10 count on the first solid punch landed.

the guy will take his check and go home.

.85 unit to win 1.70

it could go a little longer, i guess, but I hope not.

good luck, boxlocks
and everybody

Question on the Taylor/Hopkins fight...

I'm seeing the over 11 1/2 rds at +200 now. Any scenario where either of these guys takes out the other? Thanks.

The under is +200 I think you mean. Taylor's chin is untested and I think he hits hard enough to hurt Hopkins. Not sure if either guy can KO the other but I wouldn't completely rule it out. Hopkins getting older and older and taylor has an untested chin.

Adding

Parlay
Diaz-Urena over 9.5 -285 / Green over Crawford -1400...lay .55 to win .25

I recommend the Diaz-Urena over 9.5 straight at -285 to -300 small for those who don't parlay

anyone know much bout Alberto Mitre and Ricardo Molina?
The thing that strikes me as odd is that Molina is scheduled to rematch his only loss against Moreno bout 1.5 month after this fight. Maybe they know Mitre will be an easy win/tuneup? Add to that Mitre doesn't have that great a record. Drew against a guy with a 0-1 record recently. Gonna put a little on Molina at +125.

Tend to agree. Perused the records and paused myself. Thinking Molina has a good shot here. As far as him being scheduled to fight Moreno, I don't know that I would let that be an indication of the outcome here. Looking only at past performances, I like the puppie. Also like babala over Wiggens and played under3.5-150 Green-Crawford.

gl guys

I passed on this one, but I agree at +125 or +140 it was worth a shot on the dog.

Mitre has lost a few decisions against weak comp and drew with a couple of nobody's, but 3 of his losses were majority decisions and 1 was a split decision. All 4 of his losses have come against the same 2 guys, one of which he beat in their 2nd fight.

Of Molina's 8 wins, 3 were majority decisions and 2 were split decisions. More than half of his wins were very close. The kicker here, and the reason I didn't play the dog, Molina was stopped in the 9th round by light punching Moreno. Molina was down in the 2nd round against Murillo earlier this month, he was down in the 2nd round against Conception 7 months ago, and hewas down in the 3rd round against Quintero last year. The guys who have hurt Molina are very light punchers and while Mitre's not a huge puncher he does have 8 whacks in his 11 wins, more than you can say about the guys who have floored Molina in the past.

Joey opened a line on this fight at his place but pinnacle left it off the board, very interesting. Joey recently pulled this fight off the board, even more interesting. Now 5dimes has the old Olympic special going with -140 on Mitre and +100 back.

Most of Joey's players are very sharp, maybe he realized he made a mistake and pulled it b/c he knew moving the line would not stop the bleeding.

Either way, it will be interesting to see how this plays out

Oddessa has his own site, betoddessa.com or something like that. I'm not posted up there myself, YET, as I want him to be around for a year or so before I commit. Not saying he isn't on the up and up, just that he is green as far as a book goes, IMHO.

Spread

Check out the line movement on the Valero round prop, "fight won't start 2nd round" is now +500.

The last I saw it was -500 / +280

Some big money has come in from some very ballsy sob's who bet the over up from -500 to -900 now.

I'm considering a shot on the under at +500 but this guy looks like a tougher nut to crack. A line movement like that on a smaller fight usually means someone knows something. But at those odds, why not.

Good Start

Good Start

Wiggens wins by tko as Courage doesn't answer the bell for the 5th

We should have won both plays tonight but the fight was recheduled for 8 rounds.

missed the chance to get in on that Valero play, what was the result ?

Sykes to win by decison +1400
why is the sykes by kayo prop only like +700

sykes hasn't knocked out anyone good. He goes the distance with the regular pretenders. He has 6 knockouts.
not saying Sykes wins, but the only way he will is by outboxing Peter.

Great call on Molina, stopped Mitre in the 8th.
I hope you went with your instincts last week on the Craven-Brock over 3.5 at decent +money. Keep up the good work.

frank

Congrats on Molina. Sorry about Courage, he broke his hand in the first round, never had a chance. gl on the Green under

Spread

Valero kept the streak alive with another 1st round KO. We missed out on the big +money, could have gotten +500.
The huge line movement on the over scared me off, oh well.

Congrats Spread, good call

An associate of mine got "Sykes by 12 round decision" at +2400 when it opened.

Not sure why the KO prop is so low, maybe the oddsmakers think Peter will fade down the stretch if Sykes keeps a high work rate. Byrd almost stopped McCline that way.

Maybe with Peter's promotional advantage they can't see Sykes getting a fair shake from the judges.

Both of these guys won a 10 round UD over Jovo Pudar, both fought him on neutral grounds.
Peter scored a shutout 100-90 on all cards. Sykes won by scores of 96-94, 97-93, and 98-92.

"the bunker"
i`m not crazy about the guy....but,sykes weighed in at 228...his lowest in a long time...he almost looks buff.....

sykes by decision is +1375 now.....+550 flat...

something to think about...he is an awkward lefty that`s used to going rounds.... food for thought....

he did,after all,call out peter...and although powerful,peter is a bit limited....

i`m hedging my" peter " parlays....
