yeah...i saw that at fightnews....
this is what i got from a writer i follow.....
"""Having televised heavyweight Taurus Sykes' last fight, the future in my mind did not look good for the New York City based heavyweight. But Sykes, who bested Friday Ahunaya last time out, this is not the same athlete that weighed in for Samuel Peter and their Showtime main event emanating from Reno, NV. Weighing 243 lbs. against Friday, a ripped Sykes scaled 228 yesterday afternoon. Remember, it was the once beaten Sykes who called out the undefeated Peter. Come tonight, we'll see if Sykes made the right move! Peters is favored, but Sykes for the first time in a long time is in shape! """"
the official weight may well be 235....this writer was at the weigh-in and thought that this was as good as sykes has ever looked...
i trust this guy....maybe he had it wrong....the fact that he thought sykes was in his best shape is what i took from his comments...
we`ll see tonight...
if peter can`t beat sykes, and i think he should,he`s going nowhere,,,,
the comments were enough to make me protect a couple parlays that end with peter...
g.l.,guys
