I'm sure you will take Salido over Neal,
the fight ended an hour ago!!!

You've been hitting 100% since you started
posting plays after the fights are over.

Another excellent job KOD...???????
..............................

yeh I wondered if you would notice.

Neal came out good and looked like he had control of the fight. The differance in height just didnt matter and looked about the same. Salido was able to reach him OK.

I guess they lie in boxing about heights and weights also ?

Then Salido catchs him and Neal goes down like he got hit by a truck. I thought Neal would recover but he was on loose legs.

It really pisses me off when I make a
play based on certain information only
to find out the info. was wrong.
Neal was supposed to be 5 inches taller than
Salido, but was only 2 inches taller at the most!

And I didn't see anything about Neal going into
fashion design when I did my handicapping!

Either way he didn't have the right gameplan.
When your're fighting a guy thats been KO'd
5 times and you have some power...USE IT.

Yeh thats why I did not make a play on Salido Vs Neal.

I have a rule to have watched past fights of at least one of the fighters before I would wager any money. I didnt know either of these guys.

Hill vs Lalonde was easy because I had seen them both on quite a few occasions over the years.

Adding

Adding

30 minutes till fight time and line for Harris
is all the way down to -350 at Pinnacle.
Taking a chance and adding 1 unit to
Harris -350.

Boxlocks,

Goodjob on the HBO fights tonight. I followed you on Mayorga & Judah and was able to make some cash. Keep up the good work.

Updated list of fighters you shouldn't bet on:
#1 Michael Grant
#2 Robert Davis
#3 Zab Judah

In the "through 7 rounds" thread GW and I
discussed why Judah should be on this list.
Don't get me wrong, Judah at his best is a
top 10 pound for pound fighter (imo). But
he is hardly ever at his best and it could end
up costing him. (see "through 7 rounds")

What these fighters have in common is a
lack of effort in the ring. For different reasons
they do not have the killer instinct it takes
to be the best. How great would Judah be
if he had the killer instinct of Mike Tyson,
or the heart and will of Vinny Pazienza.

I am rambling about this because I watched two
completely different fights Saturday night. Judah
was by far the better man but almost lost the fight
because he didn't put out the effort. Forrest is by
far the better boxer but he got beat by a guy that
would rather die than give less than 110%.
Both of these scenarios should be
remembered when capping boxing.

I read that Mayorga wants De La Hoya next.
That will be a tough fight for Mayorga if Oscar
fights the right way. Mayorga needs plenty of room
to throw his wide, looping punches. Forrest made
the mistake of trying to box on the outside and
moved straight back when Mayorga started
throwing hay-makers. I think the best way to beat
Mayorga is to fight close and stay on the inside.
De La Hoya should force Mayorga to fight going
backwards and when Ricardo swings Oscar should
move forward even more. While Ricardo is throwing
his long wild punches Oscar should counter with
straight right hands, short left hooks, and uppercuts.

I would love to see that fight!

And I'd like to here any opinions on these subjects.

some interesting points....i think there are 2 guys in the welterweight division i would like to see mayorga square off with....one is antonio margarito and the other is k.o. phenom kermit cintron......

any way you match these 3,i almost assuredly ends in some sort of stoppage...all action fighters....all fairly tall....all typical latino fighters.......i hope it happens...these fighters would almost assuredly stage bouts that are very gatti-ward like....except none of them boxes as much as gatti....

and yes, judah almost gave me heart failure....his father obviously doesn`t understand that you don`t win most fights throwing 25 punches a round.....

to be fair, there was mention of judah hurting his left hand in the third(the knock down round).....

That explains the low punch output but it
makes me wonder even more about his
display of arrogance and disinterest.
You would think that an injured left hand
would make him get his sh*t togethor.
I think you said it best, this guy is a major
head case.

Cantatore backed out of the Braithwaite fight
a long time ago but Oly still plans on having
a line on the fight? It seems like they don't stay
on top of this sport at all. They are constantly
letting good fights go by without giving lines
for them...Medina-Harrison for example. And
last week they took Harris-M'baye off the board
12 hours before the fight started!

I've seen Olympic have odds of -1100/+600 ???

I can't wait till a REAL boxing book comes out!
