Barrett says he is pure heart
but the sport of boxing is not pure
and that is his last fight
he is retiring and it is time to step away

wee !!!...great job,dude....
Yep.

+2000 Down the fucking shitter.

I should give this shit up.

Bet small on Angulo and Zab ITD against opponents made to order and then bet huge on powder puff punching Bradley who decides to throw 7 punches a round.

Another bad week for me!!!

FUCK IT!!!!

you were robbed on the Barrett fight paulie
you called it correctly
The way I scored it
I had Tua up 5 to 1 (maybe 4 to 2)
and then I gave Barrett every remaining round plus a 10-7 final round
Only round that was maybe close was rnd 11
Tua had a decent 11, but I still thought Monte pulled it out
Don't see how Tua got the draw
and I'm a HUGE Tua fan
but Monte is all heart and deserved a better retirement match

I'm still winning for this year so far Brother but I never seem to catch a break.

How can a judge have Tua ahead by 4 points??? I know Graham tends to think judges just make mistakes but in a case like this, the Cunt is corrupt or completely incompetent and either way should be fuking fired and not allowed to step foot near a boxing ring.

If I was this INEPT at my job, I would be shit-canned on the spot.

I am not trying to call Graham out or talk shit :toast: .

Missing a +2000 bet because of 3 blind mice, tends to leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

I, along with Monte hope that they take that one judges seeing eye dog and put it down as it's obviously too old to judge the fights for him :mj07:

Cheers to Monte Barrett....A True Warrior

Cheers to Monte Barrett....A True Warrior

I feel bad for Barrett
that would have been an incredible way to end a career
and the problem is
if they convince Barrett to a rematch Tua
you know those fukers will do it in New Zealand, and 2 months from now Monte will be 40 years old
He deserved better his last match
Here is to you Monte Barrett, and thanks for the memories....here are some of my favorites:

I truly believe 100% that the sport is inherently CORRUPT. It is simply human nature. It can't not be corrupt. If there is money to be had then shady decs are always going to be a part of the sport. I tend to look at things with an open mind but not on this one. It's no different than religion and politics. You just have to figure it into your wagers. It's not going to change.

Finally a good comeback week!

Finally a good comeback week!

Mike "The Silent Assassin" Dallas Jr -140 - Large (More Talented) - WIN

2 Parlay - Fernando Guerrero/Ishe Smith Over 9? -475 + Yuriy Nuzhnenko/Matthew Hatton Over 9? -350 (=~-180) - Medium (Sparring Sessions) - WIN

Joachim Alcine/Alfredo Angulo Under 8? -105 - Small (One Punch KO) - WIN

Luis Carlos Abregu/Timothy Bradley Under 11? -195 - Small (KO by Attrition) - LOSS

The Bradley fight surprised me. Bradley usually throws more punches and has better stamina. The 147 pound limit should of made this a no play for me, but I figured Abregu would be so easy to hit Bradley would KO him with volume punching.

I watched the PPV ($24.99) Tua vs Barrett fight. I'm biased because Tua is one of my favorite fighters, but I still thought Tua was very lucky to receive a draw. I thought Tua won 6-7 rounds maximum, but with the 10-7 final round it made the fight very close. If Tua wins 7 rounds, it is 113-113 DRAW, or if 6 rounds, it is 114-112 Barrett. Not sure how one judge had it 115-111 because that would be 9 rounds to 3 rounds, and even me being a diehard Tua fan; that was unacceptable scoring. I will say it was a hard fight to score. Barrett clinched a lot and didn't land very many hard shots besides the good shots in the 10th and the knockdown in the 12th. Although, Barret boxed well and frustrated Tua with his lateral movement. It was the tale of 2 halfs, Tua dominated the 1st half with harder shots and Barrett outboxed Tua in the 2nd half.

Let's get'em next week! :)

the best fight strategy of the weekend had to be Alcine though.
Was that hilarious or what?
30 seconds into the fight, when he just started winging shots, I was thinking to myself....this is the fight plan against Angulo?
:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

Man, you just never know how stupid these guys are going to be on the night

Wow!!! Interesting weekend indeed!!! Good weekend and I'm happy with the results!! Hit my three bigger wagers, and lost on the small doggie shots.

Lebedev - Congrats Romi!! :00hour :00hour The video I watched of him decided me also. Glad to see he is as good as we thought! :toast:

Angulo - The vibe was right on there. Dude is an animal and Alcine just not strong enough to hold him off.

Ghost - You saw the Montiel fight clear as a bell. You're right... the far superior fighter in this matchup. It appears the Hasegawa fight has given him even greater confidence.

Weepaul - Sorry about the Barrett result dude! I know it doesn't buy you any biscuits, but your thinking was right on! I had a few bucks on Monte as well. Hate to see you, and Monte get screwed. Hang in there bro, we need you round here!

Matt - Nice capping. Back on track!

Well, once again commitments kept me from enjoying this weekends fights, and it's pissing me off a bit. Glad you all are here to fill me in with the real scoop!!

Here's to the best group of boxing guys on the web! :toast:

Let's get'em next week fellas!!!!

Thx for the clip Ghost. That left was a thing of beauty. I mentioned earlier in the week that Lebed stays in the pocket and makes you pay for every mistake. This guy is the REAL DEAL. He dummied a pretty damn good fighter.
