thx for the info Thongie. To be honest, I've never twittered b4. I read about it all the time but I don't even know wtf it is. I think I'm getting old. :(

i dont twitter man, maybe if i was famous?

i like to read tweets, it's nice to keep up to date on boxers and boxing news, football snippets... thats what i like it for

i dont really care about what reggie bush is doing in his personal life..

i heard ocho cinco(chad johnson of nfl) called out andre berto in a boxing match via twitter

antonio cromartie got fined like 3k for saying the food at chargers training camp was horrible on his twitter account

Fightnews:

34-year-old Japanese jabber Nobuhiro Ishida (21-5-2, 7 KOs), 154, acquired the WBA interim super-welter belt as he kept sticking left jabs all the way to avert rough and roundhouse attacks of Marco Avendano (27-7-1, 19 KOs), 154, from Venezuela, winning a unanimous decision over twelve monotonous rounds on Sunday in Osaka, Japan. The official tallies read: Ruben Garcia (US) 119-109, Roberto Ramirez (Puerto Rico) 118-110, and Chalerm Prayadsab (Thailand) 117-111, all for the 6?2? Japanese speedster. The referee was Gullermo Perez Pineda (Panama).

Hey... Nice going with Huck and Cloud. Both had to work for it, but both delivered. I'm looking at the slim pickings left...and I think that all the dogs are reasonably live. I definately wouldn't touch any of the favorites.

I like the over in the Viloria-Iribe fight. 8 1/2 ain't that deep, Iribe is durable, and Viloria tends to fight to the level of his competition. I actually think that this Iribe will give Viloria a run for his money. He looks in great shape, and this is a sort of 'show' fight for Viloria. I see Viloria 116-113ish.

I'm not gonna risk much of the cake already made by Huck and Cloud, just looking to add a little icing.

The Japan fight looks to go over as well. Japanese fighter doesn't get ko'd and can't punch. I don't like those 11 1/2's though.

Nice call bro!
Both fights went OVER !

"Over" props are on a roll

"Over" props are on a roll

Congrats on a good week guys.
Odd think this week is that all 13 offered favs won. Dogs got smashed.

What is interesting, too, is that in the last two weeks, there were, by my count, 20 fights in which an over/under proposition was offered, and the "over" came in the winner 18 times. (Actually, you could say the "over" won 19 times out of 21 because there was an over 9.5 AND an over 11.5 on the Huck-Ramirez fight, depending on the book.)

For the longest time, each week the overs and unders would even themselves out. I wonder if the pendulum will swing the other way and the unders will start hitting? This trend to fights consistently going "over" is highly unusual.

Great observation Graham.

I've hedged my big Cloud bet with Woods by ko 7 to 12.

The last thing to go is your power, and Woods is a wiry body type that is good at sneaking power shots when you least expect it, especially vs smaller fighters staying in the pocket too long like Cloud seems to do.

I hope Woods doesn't have a last Hurrah in him, and have no idea how good a chin Cloud has.

In case he gets hurt and retreats, there's still the venue to consider if it goes to the cards.
