I know it seems like we say "looks like it's going to be a quiet week" quite a bit but it REALLY looks to be a quiet week. Things should heat up in 2 weeks and stay busy through the month. ESPN FNFs comes to a close on Aug 28 for the year :sadwave:. A good card to be had that night with urango/baily and Cloud/Woods. I hope they schedule some other fights b4 the end of the year.

Jones -350 over Lacy . I like Jones but not at those odds. I hope the contract has a clause stating the loser leaves town...permanently.

Angulo looks depressed

Angulo looks depressed

This is Alfredo's mug at the Bradley fight. I am not sure what to make of his apprerance, but he does look sad and he has a fight this week. Hope he is okay. Maybe I'm just over analyzing things again.

This picture and the way he looked on TV Saturday - it all does not look good to me too. Angulo better be ready cause Rosado is fighter in prime, who really wants to win and have no problem to upset another house fighter.

from fightnews:

Golden Boy inks Harris

"Former WBA junior welterweight champion ?Vicious? Vivian Harris (29-3-1, 19 KOs) has signed a promotional contract with Golden Boy Promotions. A date and opponent for Harris? first bout with Golden Boy Promotions will be announced shortly."

:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

Golden Boy is just amazing! Just when I think they can't get any stupider with their money. This really is a mystifying signing.

This should be one of the shorter arrangements that you'll see in boxing.

Wouldn't be suprised if he's cannon-fodder for another "Vicious" fighter in DLH's stable who needs a confidence-booster....;)

Lil' Floyd might be minus a trainer on the 19th of September:

from fightnews:
"Top trainer Roger Mayweather, uncle of Floyd Mayweather, has been arrested and charged with coercion with force and battery strangulation. Las Vegas Metro Police arrested Mayweather on Sunday after the top trainer and former fighter attacked one of his former boxers, Melissa St. Vil.

St. Vil had just gotten back to Las Vegas from Las Cruces, N.M., where she had scored an upset win over local favorite Jennifer Han. St. Vil had been training under Mayweather until about three months ago, when she changed camps. According to the Metro police report, she terminated her agreement with Roger because he had been harassing and following her around.

On Sunday, he showed up at her apartment. St. Vil says Mayweather hit her several times in the ribs, then tried to strangle her. When police arrived, she was coughing and spitting blood. Mayweather was arrested and is facing serious charges."

why does roger like spending so much time in court?

sad thing about GBP signing vivian is that he can KO victor "future franchise" ortiz

not out of the realm of possibility a guy they bring to act like a corpse decapitates their boy

Looks like Rog is out of jail. I'm hoping the thug gets the book thrown at him. I despise the guy and the whole Mayweather clan. Jeff seems to be the only one with an ounce of class and he wisely flew that coup yrs ago.

Yea, I know:) .
Rigoberto Alvarez, I found couple of fights with him on yourtube. I am thinking, he is undefited and underdog, fighting favorite that has 14 loses. I think he has good chance to upset this favorite.
