I made a small play on Rosado at +650. Gabriel looks like a decent, imporving fighter to me. I thought he beat Fernando Guerrero in a close 8 round fight where he knocked down Guerrero down in the 3rd. Rosado sets a fast pace and seems to have good stamina. Angulo had trouble with movement and seemed fatigued (had an illness in last fight). If Angulo is not at his best, Rosado could pull off the upset here.

Good Luck Guys

Anyone have any thoughts on the fights in South Africa on Friday?

I was very surprised when I saw they are putting Angulo in with Rosado
not exactly a gimme
As you mentioned, he beat Moore and Ouma
but he was most impressive against Guerrero I thought
This kid is tough
I do believe Angulo was sick last fight, and if he was healthy should have beaten Cintron
but he was inept at cutting off the ring all night long
Angulo probably wins this fight Friday, but I will say this
I sure as hell would not lay -1000 on El Perro
Gary Shaw has managed to get Darchinyan and Quintero beat the last few weeks....could he do it again here to one of his guys?

My picks:

I'm Big on Bopp in Uraguay. I generally dont wager big on chick fights but by all appearances, this girl can fight. Doesn't look like shes lost a round and unlike most girls, she actually fights most with winning records. I have quite a bit @-275 TO -300

I like the sth african over lorenzo. Lorenzo is a cagey vet and has more than a bag of tricks up his sleeve but hes 38 and on the wane. He's only fought twice in 14 months and was soundly beaten and was essentially kod in the 1st soto fight despite Cortez losing his brain that night. I got the early line on that.

I'll be more than shocked to see angulo lose a 2nd time. If he only weighed 152 the night of the fight then its pretty obvious he wasn't in any condition to be fighting on that night. I think he makes up for it. I have him in a bopp, barrios parlay and I also have the early under line of -130. The over under is a coin flip but IF he is on, I think he gets rosado of there but Im also considering hedging. Good luck everybody!

I have only 2 bets for boxing this week-

Lorenzo to beat Dlamini at +340. I think Lorenzo can give some really good fighters trouble and he is the type of dirty Bastard who can throw an unseasoned prospect off his game. I think this might be the case here.

Kovacs to beat Mwelase at +400. I remember Mwelase was expected to bomb out Ali in his last fight but instead, was getting beat and looking tired before landing the bomb.
He has been decked a few times and has stamina issues. This being a 12 rounder should suit Kovacs who only loses close distance fights and seems to come on as the fight go's longer.
I LUV these odds.

Mlungisi Dlamini retained his WBF lightweight title when he beat Francisco Lorenzo on points in Bloemfontein on Friday night.

The South African won 117-111, 117-113 and 117-112 in a bout that produced little excitement and no really damaging blows.

Cell phone snapshot of Cris Arreola at the Timothy Bradley-Nate Campbell fight. Unconfirmed reports say he's been in camp for a couple of weeks and is weighing in around 300 pounds.

Is this for real?
It sure looks like Arreola.
Wow.....just wow.....

Chris is also a beer lover... a bit frustrating as I happen to thiink Vitali is a tad vulnerable after 4 years off at age 38. Gomez is a blown up cruiser and Sam Peter is.... Sam Peter...
