Hirales-Vargas goes the distance!!!!!

:00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour

Not a bad little week for me.

The motto 'keep it simple stupid' is coming to mind.

With little to choose from, I didn't have the opportunity to dilute myself, and had a pretty good week. Also had UFC Mir parlayed in there, so I am pleased!

Let's get'em next week fellas!

Nice to see Ouma have a resurgeance. He got screwed v Mart, which I thought was a draw at best. Ouma apparently still has some fight in the tank. Thought we'd have seen a line on this. At even odds, I would have hit a 9 1/2 over on this BIG. Ouma/Kirkland anybody??? I like that for early 2011.

Ouma would've been my play of the week, and I'm happy that he finally got a good win! I like the guy! I think the odds may have been say -3 or -4 in favor of Ouma, what do you guy's think?

I think the odds would have been better TBH. Gilbert the naturally bigger fighter, fight in Gilberts hometown and Ouma being very erratic over the past few yrs (lost 5 of previous 6) would have played into the odds. I think closer to -200.

I don't know what the odds would have been, but to be honest I am surprised Ouma stopped him. I would like to see tape of it.

Wow! Being in Gilbert's hometown, I can't imagine that Ouma would've been granted any favors on the scorecards either.

The article mentioned that Gilbert opened as a 2 to 1 favorite! :scared But by fight time Ouma had moved to a 2 to 1 fav. I wonder where that line was? Maybe local books in Reno, but I didn't see it anywhere online. Too bad, even at 2 to 1 Ouma, like Romi mentioned, I would've been in big. I had it pegged at about -350 Ouma myself.

For sure the odds are from Reno
When Gilbert found Brinkley same thing - only local odds
Gilbert has a pretty solid following there

Appears as if many of the comments regarding Angulo being in the US Illegally may be unfounded. From his home in California Angulo said that his Visa expired but other than that he is here legally and that there is a smear campaign perhaps issued by Top Rank, that is behind all this. Mike Marley who broke the story originally may be at the center of this. I spoke with somebody here earlier in the week who suggested the Marley tends to be quick on the trigger with a story before getting his facts straight. Angulo expects to get his visa problems fixed but does fear there may be issues with HBO who he feels is upset with him for declinining the Marinez fight. Aside from the HBO news, this is good to hear :0074
