Well, I think the language and behavior in this thread pretty much speaks for itself.

Pretty large gap here. Starts with lightly jabbing someone regarding their spotty record keeping... and ends in personal attacks on family and friends. Disgusting mouths. Low class.

Just confirms the right decision was made months ago.

I made a personal decision to shut things down, on my end, due to several incidents. People can read this thread and judge for themselves. Would anyone want to surround themselves with talk like this?

Its no secret that punchy and I didn't get along, but he's not the reason I left. I still have no idea why someone like him would frequent these forums with no intention of contributing, but I don't let it bother me anymore. I posted my opinion and why I had it, but at the time it seemed like I was the only one who had a problem with it, so I dropped it. Its not like it was gonna change anything anyway. These 3 idiots were politely asked to tone things down many months ago as they were irritating many of the posters here. Even a well known boxing scribe chimed in and politely asked them to tone it down. They didn't and then they were called out.

I have no dog in this fight and my intention is not to start any more shit here. But will someone please tell me what the fvck happened while I was gone. When I left it seemed like everyone was coexisting just fine. An objective point of view on this fiasco would be appreciated

OK; my 2 cents. I believe this started with the Buckland-Sykes post. Buckland is -165. He KO'd Sykes last time they met and I'm thinking he should be priced higher. So I says "what am I missing here". Punchy comes back with something to the effect its a loaded question and it "all begins with the gray matter". Doesn't give an opinion on the match up, or suggest any reasoning for the odds on this. Just decides to ATTEMPT to insult me. Then the shit storm began. The line was actually legit as it went 12 UD Buckland. I was just trying to get a better read on the fight, that's all. Apparently I do not word things properly. I am not an English scholar.

from what i can remember,romi got pissed at franks....not sure,but part of it was about discussing fights before they were lined..
that was resolved and everybody went along with not giving overt opinions on unlined fights...


so everyone seemed o.k. about not overly discussing unlined fights..i thought it was over.....but that wasn`t good enough for romi and ghost...they decided that they thought they could decide who was allowed to post here and who wasn`t...they tried to browbeat franks and eventually thong...

that`s when i took exception because i didn`t think a few guys(with their little e-mail clique) should be able to play napoleon and basically run people off because they think they can.......i love seeing lots of guys posting differing takes on stuff......not every one is a gem...but hell,they`re entitled to their opinions...

that`s when i entered their crosshairs....i never had a problem with any of them(short of the usual disagreements on fight-related issues)....

it`s a public forum with an ignore feature...end of story...you don`t like someone,ignore them....be an adult,post your opinion,and others will post theres...we don`t have to agree on everything...

but you don`t get to decide who`s worthy and who`s not...it doesn`t belong to you,it`s jack`s....it`s not possible to have an open public forum and have everyone agree and love one another 100% of the time...

so,i`m guessing that when romi and ghost kid realized that they couldn`t run people they disapproved of off,they left...which is fine and dandy...i hope they`re happy where they are...

apparently they aren`t...otherwise i doubt that they`d be coming back with nothing more to offer than to snipe and disrupt....

box will be posting more often now...would love to see quanah come back and post some...don`t know where he fit into all this...maybe he just got sick of all the drama...

No shit. I remember one day quanah was a freaking monster. Was hitting plays left and right. Also the more bouts are discussed, the better. Yea, I posted a Vegas number on Guerrero-Katsidis, and made some comments about the fight. I stopped posting #'s until the off shores do now. I know punchy has a hard on for me, not sure why really. This spat will never resolve, apparently, from the looks of it. Thanks for being a friend, weasel. And brother thong to!
