I heard that pavlik may fight duddy next..

i think he should stay at middleweight and let the upcomers go after him or the bigger guys move down.

tonymontana is right he wouldnt be the same at supermiddle. although i think pavlik would wipe the mat with mora. Mora is a bum.

I'd like to see Taylor fight Jeff lacy and if he wins go against kessler calzaghe winner.
I dont want to see hopkins hold either of the 2 europeans for 12 rounds.

I just looked at But i am also sure that neither Pavlik nor Taylor could make it at smw. (maybe they can get title but will never rule the devision)
All the things that make Pavlik special at ** except stamina and workrate and heart would be downgraded. Height, reach, power, chin all would be still good or even very good but not so special.

How could you be sure of that? I know a few knowledgable boxing foks that think when Pav is ready to make the jump he could even be better and that he sacrifices some power and legs at 160. Plenty of height- he's even tall for SMW.

If your fighting style is based on give and take moving up in weight is a difficult task.
Just look at marquez vs Vasquez or Hatton.
Dont get me wrong, he sure will be a world class middleweight but he will have a very difficult times against the top dogs at SMW.
At middleweight he can rule the devision.
He said he will move up in two or three years, but who knows if he likes fighting at 168 in the rematch with taylor.
He is pretty young though maybe he can evolve even more.
But at the moment i like both cazaghe and Kessler to beat him.
But regardless where he fights i want to see it.
But unfortunately betting on him was a great two fight ride but the odds on Pavlik will be terrible at middleweight (funny censoring ** by the way took me a second to figure it out).

I think in a Pavlik/ Hopkins match Hopkins would make Pavlik look bad but not sure what Hopkins could do to beat him. Then again he beat Tarver. Step up B Hop and get your title back that was robbed from you in the first place.
