Seems Montiel won in third round. Anyone know HOW? What does RTD mean anyway? I assume it's a tech decision, but was it cuts or what.
RTD usually means retired on the stool.

Injury???

Well done Frank. Nice wins for you :0074

can't be the lou, don king, and 10 rounds limit

hopefully lucas will remember that sergio got a draw with cintron stuck up his ass and close loss to pwill before he conquered the world

That one is even worse as he actually Knocked Cintron out and still didn't get the win

Montiel makes Cermeno quit

Former world champion Fernando ?Kochulito? Montiel was victorious when Nehomar Cermeno decided not to go out for the third round after failing to recover from a left hook to the liver that floored him at the end of the previous round on Saturday night at the Estadio de futbol de los Dorados in Culiac?n, Sinaloa, Mexico. Montiel moves to 45-3-2 with 35 KOs. Cermeno falls to 20-4, 12 KOs. It was ?Kochulito?s? first fight since losing his bantamweight title to Nonito Donaire.
June 26th, 2011

it was weird....they were exchanging and kind of wrestling in the corner....and montiel caught cermeno in the side with what looked like an off balance open handed shot.....

cermeno grabbed montiel and as the round ended, cermeno slumped to the floor.....i thought he tripped...

they went to commercial and when they came back, they were cutting montiel`s gloves off.....

i guess that shot crippled cermeno...didn`t look like a big shot to me....but it must have been....

i`m thinking that the soto fight was delayed because my link source doesn`t have it up yet....

btw...congrats frankie...

nope...i`m wrong....it`s over...

Cozumel, Mexico - WBC lightweight champion Humberto Soto (56-7-2, 32 KOs) won a ten round technical decision over Motoki Sasaki (36-9, 23 KOs) of Japan. The scores were 100-88, 99-89, and 99-89. The fight was stopped prematurely when Soto slipped on a wet spot and was unable to continue after spraining his leg. Sasaki went down in the fifth round of the fight.

Mickey Ward use to retire guys with a liver shot as did poppy Chavez. Don't know what that feels like unless you get tagged that way, but I'll pass. I do not care for Alexander's style and I won't risk betting on him unless he fights an 80 year old. I keep watching the HBO sit down with Klits and Haye looking for clues/weakness, but with Hayes bravado bull shit and Klits glass jaw, this one is risky. If they mix it up, it doesn't go to the cards; if Haye plays catch me/fuk me all nite, I fall asleep early.
