Just paid $2.88 for premium, this is within 20 cents of where it was before Katrina. As I said a couple of weeks ago, perhaps the panic and "Run and fill up your car TODAY before it hits $5/g" threads were a bit premature.

On the course!
It's kinda funny how our minds "work". Six short months ago, if someone told you that you would be paying $2.60 for a gallon of gas, you would have wanted to burn the gas station to the ground.

Two weeks ago, it spiked past $3, and now has "dropped" to $2.60, and people are happy?

We really are "sheeple"............

yeh

all they had to do was hold back on gas and make us wait in line fearfull we wouldnt be able to get to work and that shut Americans up. On a good note, I have noticed diminished traffic on Atlanta highways and that is saying alot here. Maybe the ones that cant afford the gas are finally staying home and talking on their cell phones in the bathroom instead of in the car. The rat bastids.

Got to love big oil.

Well first of all the amount of traffic in any given city is from one persons point of view. So from what I see of traffic in metro Atlanta everyday, and what the farm boy sees are probably two differant perspectives. So for him to question what I see as diminished, is somewhat of a smart ass response. Much as your's is ....

Geezz I sure have to explain alot to you sometimes.

Heck MR O'Reilly one of those ding bates from T V said. Just don't buy gas on Sunday. That will hurt the companies and get there attention. He must of got some chit from his boss since he has not mention this for a week. Or may have found out many Americans don't gas up on Sunday. Saturday is the big day.

He was just saying he didn't see a letup in traffic, man. It was just a differing point of view. Not sure what the 'farm boy' stuff is about and all that regarding him. Maybe you guys have had previous clashes or something, but your comments make no sense.

It *is* possible that you see less traffic, while he doesn't. Christ!

Well as Mama pointed out I was wrong so I guess I owe a apology.

Try to get kosar to admit wrongness sometime. He can't even admit to being tramitized.

I have seen cows in peoples back yards in
Woodstock. Front yards have 3 cars up on blocks,
a washing machine on the front porch, and a stove being used as a planter. Sorry if that hits home LUX.

Not a problem Scott, I was just wondering what part of town you were talking about. I live on the border of Marietta & Woodstock and it seems like they have built on every square inch of land up here, so there aren't as many farms as you think. Those farmboys have become some rich bastids as a result though.

Yeh I know.

Try getting down Windy Hill Rd at 5 oclock.

I only have noticed a decrease on the weekends. And it is hard to tell if it is less traffic or not. Mostly up 85 north area by Indian trail as I go that way alot.
