I like him also Agent but thought some tough #s for anyone age 65--he played VERY well hitting 14 greens--but his stonger suit putting let him down as you previously stated.

adding gir
woods -135 (-1/2) over Verplank
# just a tad high but this is one weather no factor in fact the worse it is the better

Day 1: 1-1-1 +2.1 units.

Where did Riley find his game?

Second Round 3-balls (@ Bet365)

Eric Ramsay +260 over Chris Riley/Ignacio Garrido
--Maybe Riley will play out like he did in Round 2 at Augusta, or maybe he'll play like a Ryder Cupper. Either way, Ramsay should be able to hang around for the weekend and I'll take a shot again at this slightly reduced price.

Lloyd Saltman +250 over Rich Beem/Peter Baker
-- Saltman actually had the lead in this group through 15 holes, but tripped up on 16-17. Baker's second round average this year is terrible, so I'll take another shot. Beem could be the wildcard here.

DTB Allenby over Molinari/ Bjorn over Campbell :scared those seem to good to be true. I guess I should be more on the ball. I don't see them on the board anymore, hope they don't void them.

Second Round Matchup
Ian Poulter +151 vs. Phil Mickelson @ Pinnacle

The last time I looked, Allenby was -190/Molinari +158 at 5 dimes before they took it down.

I see Toms DQ'd himself. Bit of a strange one...

David Toms, who finished in a tie for fourth place when The Open was last played at St Andrews in 2000, has disqualified himself from this year's Championship.

He told R&A officials this morning that he wanted to report a possible breach of the Rules during his first round.

On the 17th hole he hit his second shot over the green onto the gravel path and eventually had a short putt for a six. He holed the putt quickly and without much thought but became increasingly concerned later that his ball may have moved after he addressed it. He did not include the resulting penalty under Rule 18 in his score for the hole. The penalty is automatic disqualification.

Toms decided to disqualify himself from The Open and The R&A accepted his decision.

...but I'll take the win in the matchup with Love. (I wont complain next time I get a bad beat)

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
OUTRIGHTS:

Colin Montgomerie(40/1)(1/4 for Top 4) e.w. @ Bet365

GL

Edit:I managed a bleary-eyed viewing of my VCR tape of the first round, but I made it to a computer for the first time in 30 hours just 5 minutes before posting this play. Consequently, I missed all the lines and betting opportunities for today, and have yet to get busy reviewing the written media coverage. Tiger(-450) to Win looks intent on stretching his lead and spoiling any excitement, but regardless . . . The mistake in my golf capping from the entire 2004 season that I chastise myself over the most was failing to play Phil Mickelson(50/1) e.w. on Friday at Troon, and the final outcome doesn't change my rating of that mistake. One of the two mistakes in my golf capping from the entire 2003 season that I chastise myself over the most was failing to play Thomas Bjorn(50/1) e.w. on Friday at Royal St. George's, and the final outcome doesn't change my rating of that mistake . . . I don't know what I would have played earlier in the day if other committments had not exhausted me, but I I knew the mistake I was not going to make this Friday within 100 seconds of contemplation after turning on my computer . . . If Monty isn't in the mix to the death for a finish he can justly chirp about (10/1 for Top 4 makes it a 5 to 1 proposition), then Monty will end up surprising me far more than anything else I can contemplate seeing over the next 45 holes of the championship . . . I wouldn't even mind pairings with Tiger for the final 36 holes, to see what answers Monty could conjure up . . . I played it large.
