It amazes me how these so called football guru general manager executives draft these "athletic quarterbacks" in the first rounds and they bust. Everybody can see it too. So what gives? Do these billionaire owners make these choices for their teams? And just disregard logical and proven scouting? I don't consider myself a football know it all, but I would have NEVER drafted Johnny Football. Oh well, I guess that's why Iam sitting on my couch drinking beer on Sundays.
Better yet, I wished Jerry Jones would have drafted Johnny Football. Jerry is a good business man but not really a great judge of football talent. Hell if it weren't for Jimmy Johnson, Jerry would still be trying to get a Super Bowl ring. Some people call it "passion". I call it a meddling owner with too much money.
I'm nor saying Manziel is any good at all, but it was just his first start. It's not like he'll never play again. He's as tall as Russell Wilson though so I can't say that his height is the sole source of that shit he threw out there today.
Sounds about right but I think an argument can be made if Vinny was a success or not.
