WOW Thats unbeivable and you'll love this Clive as well as I.
USA Channel anounced today during pga that next week they will adjust their televised time to include entire rd of Annika regardless of what tees she draws
Now I am all for that!Might even pull for her to make cut if weekend coverage does same
Most erroneous quote ever made from several sources.
"This only only a one shot thing, she is not interested in playing in more events"
 I'll lay 2/1 against that unless she totally flops. If TV is going to change their coverage there is no way they won't ride this little money maker to the hilt if it takes sponsers paying her bonus to play--and one thing I've learned during the numerous interviews Annika has done---She LOVES the big lights.
Was wondering how Singh would react today to the bombardment of press but while he looked to have his mind miles away on several occasions he played decent and did see him smile once.

Annika ready to storm the airwaves

Get ready golf fans, here comes the Annika Sorenstorm.
Whether you're pulling for her to miss the cut or beat Vijay Singh silly in a playoff, it's going to be easy to detail Annika Sorenstam's every divot at next week's Colonial. Both USA Network (which broadcasts the tournament Thursday and Friday) and CBS (Saturday and Sunday) have shuffled plans in an attempt to maximize the ratings potential of a woman playing from the back tees.
"It's a great story even if she doesn't make the cut," CBS senior vice president of programming Rob Correa said. "It's putting golf on the front pages in a positive way."
To provide viewers with as much Annika as possible, CBS has added an hour to its May 24 programming. Originally scheduled to air golf from 2-5 p.m., the network will provide an Annika hour from 1-2. The time slot will focus solely on Sorenstam, either providing lowlights from her two rounds if she misses the cut, highlights of her third-round play if she makes the cut but tees off before air time, or -- network fingers crossed -- live action of her third-round play near the leader board.
At the Masters, CBS totally ignored Martha Burk. But at the Colonial, Fort Worth native and executive producer Lance Barrow will no doubt call for plenty of shots of Sorenstam's shots.
"We'll show her play but also touch on the events surrounding her involvement," Correa said. "It's impossible to predict exactly what kind of effect she'll have [on ratings], but there's an undeniable increase in interest because of her."
While CBS can only hope for Sorenstam to make the cut, USA is guaranteed live golf the first two days. In addition to its 3-5 p.m. schedules both days, USA is adding additional coverage of Annika, regardless of when she plays. If Sorenstam tees off in the morning, USA will have 4 1/2 hours of coverage before coming back with its regular afternoon schedule. Also, USA has added LPGA Hall of Famer Patty Sheehan to its broadcast team.
"We won't ignore the other players in the tournament, because it's a great field," USA spokesman Tom Caraccioli said. "But we're certainly aware that Annika is the player everybody ... wants to see."
