Maybe they aren't wease, but aside from shokey I guess, they went 2-14 last year. Really tallented teams dont do that even if Ryan Leaf is quaterbacking. Regardless, it is obvious that Newton has more to offer than most (including myself) thought.

It was more of a mentaility thing last year. The coach didn't give a shit and the players had ZERO motivation. Being a lame duck coach as john Fox was.....simply set up for disaster. Last year was a throw away year. Even the city of Charlotte was apathetic towards the team for the first time. But there's a little excitement in the air around these parts....hope even. I guess we'll find out if Ron Rivera is the answer or not soon enough.....but the players are playing hard for him, which is 100% better than last year.

If you look at our players at the skill positions on offense....we aren't chopped liver. Cam has options to throw to......2 solid running backs.....

Hate scam newton. He had a great game against the leagues worst secondary. Patrick Peterson is the best player on the defense and he is a rookie. Zonas d is going to pad a lot of offenses numbers this season. I wish scam nothing but the worst. He has lied and cheated everywhere he has ever been, it will be the same here I see a scandal soon.
