had a few bucks on seattle and a litte more on the under. was happy to make a couple of dollars.
the fix talk is nonsense. the officiating wasn't great by any stretch but steelers made enough plays to win and cover.
imo, thats really what the game came down to. pittsburgh made the plays.
seattle didn't.
it's obvious that a lot of myopic steelers fans still are convinced that seattle had no business on the field with them today. seattle outplayed the steelers for the majority of the game (in terms of the consistency of offensive production). but pittsburgh made the "impact plays". nobody dominated anybody, nor is one team head and shoulders above the other.
steelers made the plays that mattered and deserved to cover. and the fix talk is nonsense, just as is the talk that pittsburgh is clearly the better team.
its not gonna go down as the prettiest super bowl in nfl history, but it was watchable and the two teams involved were evenly matched. steelers did enough to cover and the game was pretty much a dead under.
