Fair Question.

My car is a 2000. Its got less than 80k miles on it.

I moved from Atlanta as I hate traffic and the morons on the roads. Now I live on a resort island, live less than 3 miles from work and rarely even turn on the A/C cause Im there by the time it cools off the interior.

Never had a car payment in my life.
Changed the oil ONCE last year.
These are positives in my world.

Back in Atlanta I was working 50 hour weeks and commuting 20 hours. Made a lifestyle change. Regret nothing.

So, driving in silence for 3 miles really isn't a sacrifice?

If I change the radio station from Tom Sawyer to Shiny Happy People then I just turn off the thing and drive in silence.
