Justin was wrong for what he said, but he's a good dude. He's in Africa now fighting for gay rights so I respect him for that.

By the way his father was real good friend with Fidel, hence why he said what he said, not making an excuse for what he said, but just stating why he said it.

He his far from an idiot, he is a very smart and compassionate man.

And by the way it was his father that was good buddies with Castro. Castro was a pallbearer at Pierre's funeral for fucks sake, now that was fucked up.

Canada is currently ranked as the 2nd best place to live on planet earth so I figure if we can get to fully developed status we'd get to number 1.

Even good guys say dumb shit, and yes he made a dumb comment. Yes his dad loved Fidel but he should have just kept his mouth shut. I am sure even his dad were still alive he would have said "WTF dude, why did you say that":facepalm:

I'm with you on this. Nobody in politics is perfect! Obama isn't and Trump certainly won't be.
Justin was just in Cuba a few weeks ago to meet with Raul Castro and reinforce Canada's relationship with them. I think he was just trying to be compasionate with his statement.
