I might have. I have hated him for at least ten years. I don't like the Giants either. I am a Bears fan. What I really don't like is when a coach purposefully throws a game in order to establish some sort of skewed sense of righteousness. He ran the ball something like 16 plays and benched his best back because he fumbled twice the first game. The guy (Wilson) understands it, don't fumble, but Coughlin still has to show how big his head is and bring in Jacobs and insert him into the goal line offense for the sole reason of showing up his two roster running backs. He is a poor excuse for a human being, could care less about his players or the team. This isn't 1964 and people don't respond well to humiliation anymore. The team's play showed exactly that as well. They don't and won't rally around him when his head is on the block, never have and never will. I don't like the guy as a coach or a human being and he needs to go.

Hope this helps,
FDC

Giants fan here, don't get me wrong, I like you bunches FDC, but TC has about another five years of 0-16 football before I start telling him what he should and shouldn't do.
I have friends who are bears fans, you guys got your own problems, yes, you have started out well this year, still need an O-Line and speaking of firing coaches to quickly...........

Haha. I never said us Bears fans were sensible. I know that Coughlin's record speaks for itself and has two SB's. He has forgotten more about football than I have ever known. I don't like the way he treats his better players at times. I feel that if you are going to bench your best runner for what amounts to two games if not more than he should bench Eli for the four picks. Those demoralize the team just as much as a fumble, but he won't ever do that, nor would I for that matter. Of course I am pissed about Wilson because he is on my fantasy team and Coughlin fucked me again just like Nicks did last year but I am over it now.
The Bears O-line is improving and getting better with the new additions. Personally, I felt Lovie Smith should have been fired years ago. The team continually poured money into the offense with Cutler, Marshall, etc... and he chose to not even hire a quarterbacks coach. He alienated half his team by ignoring the offensive woes for years. He cannot make a halftime adjustment whatsoever. He literally cannot do it because he has no idea how offense works. He was a players coach and they rarely win the big one. Norv Turner is a players coach, so are the Ryan brothers, so is Pete Carroll and I would be willing to bet anyone that he won't win a Super Bowl in Seattle. It simply won't happen.
Coughlin tries to be too much like Parcells. The only problem is that Parcells actually has a kind streak and a sense of humour unlike Tom.
Good conversation though for sure. I completely agree that firing Coughlin now would be foolish. I just personally don't like the guys tactics, but then again, what the hell do I know.

FDC, in regards to how you described TC you can practically say almost the same for Shanahan. The guy has no personality whatsoever. At least from what I can tell. He can hold hands with TC when that train comes.

Yea I am definitely in agreement with that. Shanahan is a tree, I'm just not sure which one yet.
