I’d love to blame Franklin. He’s not a good coach. He should have and could have done more. But Allar was soo soo bad. Basically threw 4 awful picks. Missed open guys
The two key plays:

1 - not getting fumble at end of 1h.
2 - the dropped/underthrown td.

Franklin wasnt the best but this one not totally on him.

Let’s not forget he missed the throw my 8 year old nephew would have made at the goaline. Then Franklin Kicked
I probably kick there too and I'm pretty aggressive minded for those things. It turned out that the game went quite well after that as they ended moving ahead 10-0. That fumble fuck up was disastrous tho.

Yeah, I'm referring to 2H
I wasn’t responding to you. I agree with your post. Franklin sucks, fine. And he had a bad 1q. But this game was so easily won in so many different universes (sims). Just botched every play and ND takes advantage again. Hats off. I like the team. Love Freeman. Love Riley. I wanted them to lose with every ounce and i think they lose 75% of the time legit. But this is the run

Reasonable. I had this argument twice tonight. I don’t agree tho. Had em backed up. 50% conversion there is a huge winner. ND wasn’t doing shit at that point so worst case you have them pinned. Game was bound to open up

Yeah I cant really argue with that. It's a 50/50 situation.

What is getting lost on all this was the Penn St db falling down leading to the tying td! I needed that one tho. 24-17 final would have been complete ass for me, needed to get over. I actually think the over was the best play tonight even though some will say it barely made it. This game had tons of offense available in it.

Even though I like Texas tomorrow, Ohio st vs ND is dream betting matchup.

I’m not saying losing this game was all his fault because clearly it’s not. But this happens every year in every big game he coaches, he just doesn’t do enough to get it done.

James Franklin as Head Coach at Penn State:
