1837,

I would be careful about laying extra juice with a given point spread in the CFL. There are no real "key numbers" in the CFL - even 3 is not significantly stronger than other numbers. I would rather play -3.5 -110 than -3 -120.

Key info about the Hamilton/Sask game: both Greene and Mc Manus are questionable, McManus with a sprained ankle and Greene with a pulled hamstring. Anyone know any info about their backups?

Record on this forum (P/S and O/U).............11 wins 8 losses (58%)
*all odds are at $1.91*

Record on bestbettor.com .......4th place 12-9 (57%) +399.90 units

"Confidence" scale goes from 1 to 10

1=worth a try
5=feel good
10=like betting on the sun coming up in the morning

Friday
-------

Edmonton +6.5 to beat Montreal ...................confidence of 8.5

Thursday
------------

Ottawa vs. Toronto Over 51.0 .........................confidence of 6.0

more games to follow................

and Note to new CFL bettors.........the lines change more then the NFL..........sometimes it pays to wait to the last minute or get in very early..........for example I can't see the +6.5 in the Edmonton game going any higher............in fact by game time in might be at 3.5 at some places........now that would be one huge jump! And yes there have been games played already that have moved three points at places..........of course the longer the season goes the less the line will move..............but with good shopping you may find a very very good price :D

The Edmonton/Montreal game actually opened at 3.5 and was bet up to 6.5 because Edmonton has some serious injury problems. It's true that a line can move 3 points in the CFL, but it won't move 3 points one way and then the other again. I wouldn't count on this number dropping at all.

Perpetual, i thought you understood in my previous post that you shouldn't help more the sportsbooks than what you are doing by telling them who is injured and who is not....:nono: Unless you work for them.... We are here to beat them and it is not by releasing these informations that you are helping us! Keep it for yourself until the props are out for God' s sake!!!!:shrug: :nono:

1837,

The more info that gets exchanged on madjacks the better it is for the players, not the sportsbooks.

I think you are overestimating how much the books use forums as a source to set their lines.

Myron, don't be naive, SURE they read it!:eek: but if we have, in addition, some guys that help them with injuries, i wonder how will we beat them now...:shrug: :confused: Can't understand why are we helping these guys when all they want is our $$$$ Chucky, at least, understood what i was trying to say and i think he wasn't alone...

Perpetual, explain me then why some of these props will be OTB tomorrow when they will come out...:nono: I know sportsboks, been enough in gambling, to know they KNOW madjacksports... When we beat the hell out of them last year in motor racing, some of them asks ? and found our forum so...

I have to agree with 1837 on this one.... when posting injuries on the forum before they release the lines all that you are doing is helping the books..... Its the CFL... small sport with not too much info.... why wouldn't the books take a look at the forum for some info before posting their lines?? can't hurt them.... I don't see anyone else posting any prop plays at any other msg forums... so if anywhere they would look here..... You can't tell me that if last week we posted the injury status of Phillips and that he would most likely only play 1 half that they would still put up Phillips at 99.5 rushing yards -110.....

back later with the plays....

1837,

Firstly, I used to work for a sportsbook - coincidentally the same one that is posting these props you are interested in - so I'm in a good position to be able to tell you that you really are overestimating (by a lot) how much they use these forums when they set their lines. I'm on my own as a player now and receive no benefit from taking the time to post information, other than the possibility that it will help make the forum a better source of info in the future by attracting more posters.

Secondly, I think you are taking an awfully selfish position by trying to control what information you'd like to see distributed here. Maybe you and a few others don't want to see stuff that you already know about posted but what about the rest of the audience? They pull up the site only to find some people keeping secrets to themselves and end up wasting their time. Maybe if they see things that get them interested to stay around then our pool of information grows and one day maybe you will find information yourself that you can use.

Trying to filter what specific types of information should be posted on a public forum is self-defeating - it completely goes against the principles of why the forum is there in the first place.

To tell me i'm selfish and try to control the forumwas the funniest statement i've ever read concerning me!:lol: If i was like this, i wouldn't have posted here for the last 2 years in motor racing and in CFL and would have keep the profit for myself.

Used to work for a sportsbooks too but didn't last long but as i can see, you are kinda new here so you haven't search very far before commenting like that. :rolleyes:

We are here to beat bookies not to help them!!! :nono: I didn't say to not post info about injuries at all but to post them AFTER the props are releasing, HUGE DIFFERENCE HERE!!! As Korn, wrote, CFL isn't NFL nor NBA where injuries are fully described and where bookies even know it before public! CFL is a small sport in Vegas activities as it is in Cart and F1 racing. There are still some sports where we can have a small advantage and we are here to share it and make profit but if you do continue to post like this you are just NOT helping us but helping them!!!

Your attitude is surprising if not arrogant...:nono:
