Sure, he thought so too. When they're all fed the same horrible intelligence, and all ignore the inspectors that were actually there, that tends to happen. Although somehow Powell and Rice didn't think so. Until they were told to think so.
All this doesn't matter. Who cares whether he had WMD or not? A lot of countries have WMD programs. He was not an immediate threat of any sort and focusing on terrorists should have been our priority. Period.

i agree with Kosar, N Korea has WMD, I dont see Bush going in and trying to disarm that country. there is probably about a dozen more countries with WMD's, but i dont see bush doing anything about it. Bush should of stuck to his original plan to capture Bin Laden, but no he wants to be considered a hero and try to do what his father couldn't. Big deal. great Saddam is gone, why is everything still a mess and why have we lost more troops than after the war has been declared over?? We are losing the war over there and its never going to end. Bush doesn't want to conceed a defeat over there or acknolege whats going on. that reminds of a old quote pres johnson said. He said he didn't want to be the first president to lose a war. Well bush is almost starting to be a carbon copy of him.
not to get in the middle of this debate, but charles all you do is attack and call names, but when someone does give you points or facts or questions, whats the first thing you do, you stoop to name calling and "stick to the subject" crying instead of answering the question, THE SAME THING YOU ARE BITCHING AT OTHERS FOR DOING, either you are not smart enough to have a debate or you really are a child playing on daddys computer........

The inspectors wouldn't be able to find a pile of manure under their noses. And Eddie, once again we find common ground to agree upon with Clinton. It is a little scary. If Clinton was able to run in November, I believe he would be a landslide winner. He woould be such a better choice than the two stooges running now.
