— Tennessee 66, Missouri 24— Back in July, Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz took a shot at Tennessee’s issues with the NCAA; the alleged violations happened under the previous coaching regime. Vols led this game 59-24 in last 3:00; they were running no-huddle offense, throwing the ball (with their 2nd unit), scored a meaningless TD with 0:36 left to rub salt in the wound.
This game was 28-24 with 8:55 left in third quarter; Tennessee dominated from there. Vols gained 724 yards, averaging 7.1 yards/rush, 12.1 yards/pass.

This game was on FOX so I couldn’t watch it, seeing how DirecTV and Mission Broadcasting are greedy bastards who can’t agree on $$$, so that station is blacked out in Albany.
Washington tied game on 62-yard TD pass with 3:07 left.
Huskies won game with a 43-yard FG with 0:51 left.
Total yardage: 592-522, Oregon. Ducks ran football for 312 yards.
College Basketball Notes:
— Wright State 73, Louisville 72— Cardinals are first team since Arkansas State in 1991-92 to start a season 0-2, with two one-point losses.
— Alcorn State 66, Wichita State 57— Shockers went 303-84 in Gregg Marshall’s last 11 years coaching there; they fired him after there were multiple allegations of verbal and physical abuse from former players.
Wichita is 32-20 since then, 17-11 in conference games.
— Boise State 71, Washington State 61— Good win for the Mountain West Conference.
— James Madison 97, Buffalo 62— Dukes scored 106-97 points in winning their first two Division I games- they scored 1.41, 1.09 points/possession in those games.
