Imo Fla's offense will be more potent with the new qb because of his arm being stronger than tebow's.

Yea from what I am hearing he may be better than Tim. We shall see. But Florida 3? They may not be the best colllege team in there own state this year. Miami and FSU will give them a run for there money. Should be interesting.

I think that's a good point and in fact I have Fla overs on my notes to watch early. As you stated it's based on the ability of Fla to make quick strikes with their projected improved vertical air attack.

There are a handful of others switching from pro sets to spread offenses that may be good plays early on.

Al,

Brantley may have a stronger arm than Tebow, but the report I have received on him is that he shows a quick release, outstanding accuracy and good touch, while having enough arm strength to make most throws at this level. Arm strength is actually one of his weaker points.

I have Florida at #2 in the SEC East at this point:scared

Personally, all this talk about Brantley being a better football player than Tebow is shocking. He may get there, but for now he is totally unproven.

As of now, I am going to look as Fla as a potential fade when laying points, particularly on the road in the SEC.

BTW, this did not work with me on Bama(McIlroy) last year, but Bama was losing on the scoreboard at least 6 games in the 4Q, so I am not so sure that I was way off on that team last year.

I agree. Any team with a new QB has to be looked at closely when deciding on how to play. McElroy had the benefit of having great support around him. Does Brantley have that kind of support around him? I'll have no prob betting against the Gators this year.
