Texas State covered that game three times (teased) and lost the cover three times within a span of 5 minutes. Between the bullsh*t Miss TD at 1:27 4q last night and this...
Texas State "D" absolutely ghosted on two of the final three NTexas possessions. Where are the coaches? Do they hold anyone accountable anymore? Do they insist that players play hard for the entire game or only as much the players want to? With NIL and the portal etc., the inmates run the asylum. Can you imagine Woody Hayes or Paterno or Saban and some of the prima donna punks playing today? Unsportmanlike penalties, look-at-me, celebrating a decent play like it's never been done before? It really is sickening, not only in terms of wagering and capping, but also just in terms of the sport. I'm not sure that college football will ever be truly great again and might honestly deteriorate in ways that all of the mega-money interests can't even imagine. Like the old saying, "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times."
