Ames is interesting selection by quite a few..I think he showed up last week because the wind was blowing (did you see Appleby as well?)..I hope he is lying outside top 10 on Sunday then posts low final round score, like at the Players, and GG..then you can all collect..he has an element of the 'frightened rabbit' about him though..(albeit a rabbit that has earned over $1m this year!)

Outright plays:

Jesper Parnevik to win 33/1 e.w. @ Bet247
Decent course history with top-15 finishes in each of his last three visits and equally impressive form in April - he finished 2nd in the BellSouth Classic and but for a 3rd round 77 would have finished much higher than 28th at the Masters. Parnevik usually plays well after a break and is very capable of winning this week.

Nick Price to win 40/1 e.w. @ Heathorns or Surrey
A model of consistency this year with top-20 finishes in all seven events after he opened his season in the Phoenix Open. He could sneak another top-5 finish this week. He has yet to shoot an over-par round at English Turn in the last three years.

Bob Estes to win 50/1 e.w. @ Tattsbet
An infrequent visitor to English Turn, though he has 8th on his last visit (1998) and 18th before that (1993). Appears at inflated odds because of some indifferent finishes in the last two months, but his problem has been one of inconsistency rather than poor form. He closed well in the WorldCom Classic and could put in a decent performance this week. He is too good a player for these odds.

What's the deal?

What's the deal?

Can someone please explain to me why the Don Best service STILL dosn't have this week's lines up for PGA Tour golf MATHCUPS for the Compaq Classic?

Here it's FRICKIN Wednesday afternoon, and NO matchups are up yet at Cris, Olympic, Millennium, Don Best, etc.

What's the deal?

Trying hard to find a decent match-up involving Ames but no-one falling for it yet. Best match bet so far I have found is -

Price to beat McCarron @sportingodds (4/5) 2pts
Price has moved in from Evs earlier in the day. Stanley has said it all below on Price and frankly McCarron has shown over the last few weeks that he does not have the same level of consistency. He has won at English Turn before but then again he missed the cut last year.

Have not studied very well as I have been working on KY Derby
Hoch is scatch on outrights so will defer to cut.
No 72 holes as I found few i liked and they are same in most places. Sure do miss camelots extra matches.
Have 2 1st rd plays @ $plays
Estes -110 over Flesch
Parny -110 over Estes
To lose both Flesch would have to beat both parny and estes which is tough task

Campbell +115 over Lonard (5 dimes)

Getting a good price here with Campbell rated over Lonard in many of the categories at tour-tips. (thanks Stan). Play based on stats and not on my limited knowledge of the players. Hoping that Campbell can keep some momentum going from last week. Good luck everyone.
