On the course!
$174,000 a year is tough to live on for these overpriced mud slingers. They want a 3.8% raise. The hue and cry is that they haven't had a raise since 2009, and their buying power has dropped 31% figuring for inflation.

I would guess that the 31% adjustment probably affects the guy making $7.25 minimum wage a lot harder. They haven't had a raise since 2009, either.

And when the folks in DC make those 2 trillion dollars in cuts to the budget, it won't be them getting squeezed.

Yes sir its absolutely horrendous. These people are scumbags. It will take outsiders to change the direction of gov't. Should be an interesting next 18-20 months. The equity market joy ride is at its end, so the inflation related squeeze will "hurt" more as folks see their retirement accounts shrink. I look forward to the growth spurred by massive deregulation, but am prepared for a bumpy ride. Will be interesting to compare year over year spending and revenue from '24 to '25 and '26. If DJT isnt able to convonce congress to reduce spending dramatically I will feel he failed.
