ML Seattle w/Abbott ;)
Abbott has dominated this opponent in the past, having a 5-0 record when starting against the Rangers. Mariners have gone 6-1 in these starts.
In night games,Mariners are 7-1 , Rangers are 1-5.
vs. right-handed starters Mariners are 5-1.

Today my pick is the Yanks

Yanks + 135 the only team that Pedro is under 500 against is the Yanks and that was when Pedro was unhittable, Pedro is not himself yet and that spells trouble against the Yanks.

Going with the Dodgers. Brown looking great, Tollberg not so far. Good pickins there Big Mack. Congrats to everyone who had a winner yesterday. To those of us who lost, we went ahead and got it out of the way:D

Pittsburgh Pirates (Fogg) -105

Fogg had an impressive game last week against the Cubs. He went 7.0 innings giving up 5 hits and 0 runs. ERA = 0.00.

Fogg pitched against Clement on April 6th.

Clement only lasted 5.1 innings against the Pirates giving up 9 hits and 5 earned runs. ERA = 8.44. Clement does not pitch well on the road, either, with an ERA 2 runs higher than at home.

Josh Fogg might be happier being a starter for the Pirates than Matt Clement may be being in Chicagoland.

Note: The Cubbies are MadJack's best bet for today and Jack had an unbelievably great day yesterday -- hate to go against Jack when he's streaking but ...

COL ROCKIES.

They have seen the best 2 pitchers in the game in a row and now the balls will look like softballs, and Anderson has struggled so far this season.

Baltimore +180.

Erickson has pitched well in his first two games, and seems to be fully recovered from his arm troubles. I have this game graded out at about CHW -138, so I'll take the EV and run.

Today my pick is:

NY Mets -165

Even though giving up some serious chalk, taking Leiter at home against Montreal at anything better than 2-1 is a good deal.
