Although I'm too late for the consensus, here's my pick.
DETROIT -115
Call me crazy, but this is my play. It's more of a go against vs KENNEDY as he looked terrible last time out. FLETCHER mentioned how he was throwing across his body causing the offspeed stuff to hang, and him to miss with most fastballs. It was also causing him to be out of position to field if the ball came back to him. Also, TBAY has struggled to score on the road so far(only 2.3 rpg), were shut out vs LH PETTITTE, striking out 8 times and only getting three hits, and REDMAN pitched respectably last time out. REDMAN is also 2-0 vs TBAY with a fine 2.30 ERA and a WHIP of 0.766.
DET is getting plenty of hits, just not timely ones to get the runs home. Going against Kennedy tonite should help. I look for DETROIT to play loosey goosey the next few days now that they got that first win out of the way, so that's why they are, my PLAY OF THE DAY!
