I'm not sure what to think, I LOVE watching Chuck fight and I know he only has a few more in him and there are people I still want to see him against.

Machida
Anderson Silva
Shogun
Forrest

Not saying in any way I think he could win, I just want to see him fight. I think his decline is very bad for the UFC. He has "it" when it comes to drawing an audience. I think "it" is that rock star appeal and then you ad devastating KOs to it and it's a big draw.

Here's to Shogun making a full recovery :mj06:

Shogun is facing Mark Coleman at UFC 93 when Hendo and Franklin meet, as well as Dennis Kang makes his UFC debut.

Major heat with Coleman and Shogun. First time they fought, Shogun got his arm broke when Coleman took him down. The 2nd fight, Shogun submitted Coleman. There's no love loss here.

Really, they fought a second time already and shogun submitted him? When was this, in your dreams? Do you really watch MMA? :sadwave::mj07: :0corn

Sorry, was early as you can tell and wasn't thinking. What I meant is that Shogun fought Randleman, who's obviously teamates with Coleman, and Shogun submitted him. I don't believe Coleman was available to fight at the time and Randleman got the duties of getting tapped out.

I remember Wandy jumping in Colemans face at the time of the broken arm.

I started watching MMA when I was only 8 years old. I've watched it for a long time, a far long time then your newbie ass could. It's obvious that you haven't because you're just like the majority of spoiled new MMA fans.

How about instead of starting shit around here, bring something to the table.

Really excited about Shogun coming back. I'm also very worried, he's by far my favorite fighter and it's hard to come back from the injuries he had. Hopefully the Growth was in the mix for him because like it or not it's great for recovery from injuries and surgeries. Most average fans don't even know he had a torn acl going into the Forrest fight. If Shogun is fully healed, he'll be the LHW champ by New Years next year.

Also, I can't wait for Kang to make his debut. I in no way think he'll be one of the best in the UFC but he's very fun to watch.

UFC needs Kang, because that division is weak, and he's a nationally known figure, so it can only help. It's all in Kangs hands because he has so much more to gain now.

Shogun my 2nd favorite fighter Layinwood...I hope he comes back strong. I'm glad he hasn't come back early and he's had alot of time to get better. We'll see how his ring rust is, but I'd like to see him break Colemans arm this time.

I guess it could be easy to mix up Randleman and Coleman   I bring my opinion, thats what message boards are for, If you don't like it, use the ignore feature. I've watched/ordered every ufc/pride since the beginning except a handful when I wasn't near a television.

So what's the point of just trying to stir up shit? Why not just bring something to the discussion instead of trying to start stuff? If that's what you spend your days on the forums doing, then so be it....get a life then

So 1 person, rawli would like to see this fight at 205 so one can retire 'on top' Far cry from several people :0corn :mj07: :mj07: Great reasoning for these two to headline a ppv as well  A lot more intriguing fights for these two out there.:banghead:

and really..... joz, what are the "far more intriguing matchups" for these two.....

Do u really wanna see Couture rally to fight Lesnar again?

And as popular as Liddell is...... who does he really deserve choosing from the big name 205-pound guys? I mean, cmon.... he's lost three of his last four, two by KTFO. If i had my way, i would have Chuck rematch Jardine, b/c that was a close fight.... but if that doesnt happen, what is a better fight than Couture? Just askin.....

Of course, u cant name anyone that is in title contention, b/c Liddell doesnt deserve any of those guys coming off a brutal KO loss....... oh, and u cant name anyone that already has a fight booked....

Couture/Liddell is a big fight b/c the loser should hang up their gloves for good.... however, neither belong in the heavyweight division. If it is, in fact, a heavyweight fight, i say NO WAY..... that fight, literally, would have no meaning.. Lesnar just too big for both of 'em so why do it at HW...?

In the UFC 91 thread you said you wouldn't mind seeing Randy and Chuck fight onceeeeeee again at LHW and whoever would win should retire. I agree them fighting at HW is the dumbest thing they could do. I doubt this fight is even made, Anderson Silva most likely would fight Chuck before Randy again. But anways, when I was saying more intriguing fights I was really more referring to randy at LHW. I can see him in a competitve fight with almost every LHW out there outside Chuck, Chuck has got his number, do we really need to see a 3rd brutal KO?

Yea, it seems hard to believe the UFC would make this fight right now... two legends at the tail ends of their careers... not sold on it. Besides, Chuck always likes to rematch guys that have a win over him, and the Jardine fight makes sense for both guys right now.

As far as Chuck "having Couture's number"... not so sure.... Randy dealt Chuck a pretty healthy dose of ass-whooping in their first fight, and Randy's style/pace against Sylvia and Gonzaga reminded me alot of Couture in his first fight against Liddell.... that same relentless Randy that we saw in his wins over Tito and Chuck.

All in all, it's not appealing to see either of these 'old' guys get beat up.... If either guy loses their next fight, why not just......well.......:sadwave:

i`m with you there,layin`......looking forward to seeing kang and rua...

i still think the change in rules(pride to ufc)has really affected some of the pride stars......

i`m going with rampage over silva in their third fight.....i think the rule differences favor rampage and i also think that rampage has more left in the tank than silva(even though i still believe jackson has stamina issues)...

silva has the look of a guy that just walks in throwing bombs and just out-tough an opponent...

wouldn`t shock me to see jackson take silva to the mat and try and ground and pound him...

silva`s not going to try and out-slick jackson, like forrest did...

should be a nice show to end the year..

Read the report, it's already in the works and working on a Silva-Liddell fight isn't.

Yea.......... i've never heard that shit before.

Fucking two days before that it WAS all about Silva-Liddell...... Ive learned not to pay any attention to this shit until the bout is confirmed.
