Thank god he got out of the 2nd without damage. Cubbies could not have afforded to go down 4-1.

I realize this. But if Prior keeps pitching like this it won't matter how long Suppan is in this heat. It's obvious the heat is affecting Prior more than Suppan.

Remember Prior is from San Diego. He pitched at USC. He's used to low to mid-80's climate. He doesn't even know what humidity means.

He's in trouble if you ask me. But at least he got out of the 2nd. I don't want to root against him. I've known him since high school and went to USC with him as well, but he doesn't pay my bills.

Let's get some runs Cubbies!

Concrete Jungle!
I wanted to be the cards, but after reading threads on madjacks i went with the cubs. sooo bad, St. louis is so good at home, obviously it was a lock. Prior has the worst inning in his career, and this is the first time i bet him. I go tmy entire bankroll on the shaky cubbies that cannot hit, Unreal.

You think that just because he pitches in Chicago that automatically gets him used to that weather. I travel all over the country, week in and week out, but it doesn't mean that I am used to Miami's humidity or Vermont's freezing rain. I never said he can't pitch in the humidity. Just mean't that you can't expect one pitcher to be more affected than the other.

hey super ,i really dont want to argue with you

but you have no foundation for your theory about the humidity

the man pitches in the majors,he goes fron city to city

last week ,he pitched in cincy threw 106 pitches in 100 degree tempature and 100% humidity

you are talking non sense

lets just root our wagers on,i really dont care about the HUMIDITY

You're right! I am talking nonsenese. Just like trying to benefit from Suppan running around for 15 minutes.

I think you're just reaching for anything to win this bet. Your best bet is to get the Cubs to hit the damn ball.

gonna take a super human effort from prior to last past 5 or 6 innings at most with that pitch count.
