Uh, how do you NOT include it?? Obviously you don't show anything that's graphic, but I think you pretty much have to mention his death. Or maybe I'm just reading his quote wrong.
Not that it matters now, but having the stroke happen at port was very lucky. At least that gave him a chance. Can you even imagine having a stroke out in the middle of The Bering Sea? You would be fuggered for sure.
It looks like Derrick Ray has taken over for the rest of the season and the boys will not be on the show for the Opilio season.
It says they will be showing footage of Phil in the hospital so I am guessing they show some form of the stroke happening.
Fuck......why not just publish the transcript from every episode this season.

Love the show, but thought there were a couple of things in tonight's episode that bordered on fake reality shows that most of us hate. First the confrontation between the two captains (one Hillstrand was there already and the brother came later?) was a bit odd in my mind. Shortly after being held a part they are back just face to face shouting. Who knows.
Then the swapping of the Jakes, odd again that seemed done for the cameras in my mind.
Yeah the episode seemed a little more gimmicky than usual.
I have noticed that before when they are back on land and producers get the chance to stage some things.
Producers don't wander out to sea though so we should be clear of any gimmicks.
The brothers do seem to get onto each other and while the swap seemed like a gimmick, it might be an interesting idea.

what the Hell is there to give away? They will leave port go crab fishing, And then return. In between some bad weather, waves, smoke about a billion cigarettes, and return to port. Same every season. Can't believe there have been 6 seasons of this. Never mind the 10 billion commercials, usually every 10 seconds.
